Longmire is GREAT!
Maybe try “Wrecked”, it’s a comedy series that kind of takes the premise from “Lost” (a commercial jet crashing on a mysterious tropical island), but they do it in a comedic style. Plus they got Rhys Darby on the cast, the funniest man to ever come out of New Zealand.
+1
Lilyhammer on Netflix
I LOVE Nashville, it’s very much a soap opera and it does have some darker moments, but there are some good musical performances. I’m sure you can watch it all on Hulu and it’s been picked up by CMT for next season.
I also really liked Bosch on Amazon Prime, which is a detective story so maybe not what you are looking for, but it is very good.
Lie to me (Netflix)
I really, really liked that show. I was so sad when it was cancelled. Did Netflix make more, or are they just showing the original ones.
“I am currently watching Southland on Hulu.....GREAT show.”
Yes, it is great. Such good acting. Probably the best cop on the beat show since Hill Street Blues.
I second that emotion re: Hallmark channel. And I gotta say “Columbo” still really holds up. Even hubby likes it, found him watching some chick flick detective show the other day, without me even being there!
“All legit, no hassles.”
Still checking on TV series rights, but CBS has “I love Lucy” on their streaming service, so may still hold the rights.

I second Person of Interest. Also check out Monarch of the Glen, White Collar, Once Upon a Time, The Paradise, Foyle’s war, Burn Notice, Touch, Jericho and Firefly.
Maybe try Wrecked
Hey, that sounds good! I’ll try and remember that.
Last Ship on TNT. HULU has seasons 1 & 2. TNT has season 1, most of 2, and all of 3. No movie, nor series I’ve ever seen can compare. Action from start to finish every episode. After s1-e1 you will be hooked.
>>> Did Netflix make more?....
Naw... i just noticed they had it back up.
From the page on the site: “...During the 1967-68 season Lucille sold Desilu Productions to the Gulf and Western Industries, including the ownership of this show. Lucille Ball had controlling ownership over all of her shows, and the family still maintains copyright ownership of them, except for these episodes that Gulf and Western allowed to fall into public domain.”
The site owner is very conscientious!
The Beverly Hillbillies episodes don’t have the theme song- it’s still copyrighted.
Lots of terrific old shows- and movies- that lost their copyright.
The newest Sherlock series. Each episode is like a movie.
Did you try the Bomb Girls. It’s kind soapy, but has some strong characters.
The White Queen, about Elizabeth Woodvile a Lancastrian who married the Yorkist King Henry IV (I think?). Anne Neville, Queen of Richard III, and Margaret Beaufort (Mother of Henry Tudor). Lots of intrigue and scheming between these women during the Wars of the Roses.
A new movie is seldom seen. To be honest, most are not fit to be seen.
There are sites available to stream movies *perhaps some newer than others* and you might try those sites to find something of interest.
Here are several:
