I am almost always disgusted when a parent’s reaction to losing a child is, “let’s see if I at least won the lottery,” so I’m glad the parents didn’t follow that path. Even with a (hypothetical but likely) settlement from Disney, I strongly approve of this decision. Whether or not Disney contributed to the accident, the parents were physically present and made very serious errors.
This thread should be pulled for some of the ignorant and callous comments posted that, among other things, reflect poorly on the forum as well as the posters. Simply disgusting.
