I am almost always disgusted when a parent’s reaction to losing a child is, “let’s see if I at least won the lottery,” so I’m glad the parents didn’t follow that path. Even with a (hypothetical but likely) settlement from Disney, I strongly approve of this decision. Whether or not Disney contributed to the accident, the parents were physically present and made very serious errors.
