The 2016 Miss Teen USA pageant will feature one major change from the previous years competitions: USA Today reports that it will be eliminating the swimsuit portion.
The pageant had previously required the contestants, aged 1419, to walk across the stage in a bikini to "show off the athleticism of the competitors.

I can’t get too outraged about not requiring underaged girls to prance around in bathing suits.
A sizable portion of the viewers must be pedoes.
Yeah, shove ‘em all into Burkas.
I’m hoping they won’t just get rid of it, but will replace it with the burka competition.
lol
Only people upset about this are all listed in Brian Epstein’s Rolodex.
In El Salvador, at the old Sheraton, I saw part of a Miss Teen pageant, and they gave out the measurements
of each contestant as each walked in a swimsuit. But Latin’s resist feminism a bit better than we do.
Men should be able to admire beauty in a classical manner. Of course Mohammedans cannot do that.
Cultural shift to Islam, per chance?
Heck have you noticed the muzzie swim wear in Lands End?
They need to ask all Miss Teen contestants difficult questions like this one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww
I’m a guy. I REALLY like seeing a fine looking woman in a bikini.
That said, 14-19 yr. olds are NOT women. They’re kids. No interest in seeing that!
/never once watched “teen USA” or the like...
Nor can I. A nice replacement would be casual dress for a bikeride or a walk or similar activities, but not sports attire.
When Christians criticized the objectification of women, we were mocked. Now that Muzzie Wuzzies complain, they meekly comply. Maybe if we can convince Mohammedans to declare a fatwa against abortion.
The difference between those two ages is profound.
18-19 is adult. Call a young woman of that age a child and see what happens.
I wonder if it also has something to do with transgender contestants now invading womens’ pageants, since, apparently, having one of their own isn’t good enough.
Too much capitalist competition in the footwear department.
I may get flamed, but, what then is the purpose of these beauty pageants???
I don’t watch these pageants, either for teenage girls or the adult Miss America type events. But, just saying, why do people watch? Why do people compete? How are they evaluated? And why even have a pageant if you fundamentally change what it’s all about?
Flame away.
Personally I find all beauty queen competitions for kids Jonbenet Ramsey Creepy
