She’s posted and not responded. She has many friends here from the posts and not too many jackasses who don’t pretend to understand her life.
I guess as a fan of Up the Down Staircase - I was an acquaintance of its gracious and beautiful author - I have a soft spot for New York City school teachers. Bel Kaufman always told me life for teachers in the public school system had gotten much worse. What a wise, witty woman she was!
It seem to be a schtick in some Jewish circles to get all offended over things that, if untrue, could just be ignored rather than taken personally.
But never fear, some Christians do it too.
It’s easy to get caught up into spiritually playing the wrong game. Look for and follow what God has wrought and do whatever you can to shrug off the rest or at least bear through it by the grace of God, is the winning formula.
Complaining that hell is hot, is not a winning formula unless you are prepared to do something about it.
Can't blame her......Today's site ain't like the old days when everyone was on the same page.......
