Former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone has been fired from his radio show, in response to anti-Semitic comments made last month.
Livingstone has already been suspended from the Labour Party, where he was until recently a senior policymaker, after claiming in an interview that Adolf Hitler was a Zionist, and appearing to back some of the Nazi dictator’s earlier policies before he “went mad.”
“Let’s remember when Hitler won his election in 1932, his policy then was that Jews should be moved to Israel. He was supporting Zionism before he went mad and ended up killing six million Jews,” Livingstone said in an interview, while defending a Labour MP suspended for calling for the mass expulsion of Jews from Israel.
Livingstone has repeatedly refused to apologize for the comments, even after being harangued as a “racist, Hitler-apologist” by an MP from his own party. …

In Europe, there were two kinds of Jews: Zionists and Bundists. Zionists wanted the State of Israel, and Bundists despised the idea because their goal was a worldwide Socialist revolution, led by Jews, and simply putting all of the Jews in one place would not be conducive to such a worldwide revolution. That’s why many Jews don’t care for Israel, their religion was Socialism.

Marx could never figure out that money was a value marker for “human time” which is why he had no issue stealing it in the name of redistribution....

It’s up to the employer and the contract as to what’s a fireable offense and what isn’t. Even if Wells insulted highly protected blacks or homos he’d still only have received a suspension (by the league, not the team), at most. He was too valuable to the Yanks that year (19 - 7 record).
Great Britain has very different laws about speech
From what I've read, this was actually true. Hitler wanted to get the Jews out of Germany and Europe. He would have been OK with them going to Israel, but the British (who controlled Palestine) didn't want to allow it, because they didn't want to antagonize the Arabs.
There was also the matter of FDR barring Jewish refugees from coming here.
Of course Hitler knew that the Arabs wouldn’t particularly care for the idea, and that they’d do his dirty work for him.
Hitler was actually bent on global conquest, so ultimately how would he have been “OK with them going to Israel” except as a way to paint targets on their backs ultimately?
Mandatory Palestine (so-called) was designed as a Jewish refuge by the Brits per the Balfour Declaration. Only about 60,000 Jews were able to move from Germany to Israel between 1933 and 1939 due to the Ha’avara Agreement besides.
Maybe the current Mayor of London can make this guy the Deputy Mayor.
