Riyadh: A Saudi man was arrested after he shot a male obstetrician, arguing that he had no right to assist his wife’s delivery and that a woman gynecologist should have been around.
Dr Muhannad Al Zabn, who has a Jordanian father and a Saudi mother, delivered the baby one month ago at the King Fahad Medical City in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
According to media reports, the father went to the hospital and told the doctor he wanted to see him to thank him for helping his wife with the delivery of the baby, Saudi news site Sabq reported on Thursday.
The two met in the garden of the hospital and during the conversation, the shooter took out a gun he had concealed under his clothes and fired at the doctor.

At my defense company I got into a discussion with a black, former soldier who had served in Kuwait. He said that we had no right to disrespect the Arabic culture for female circumcision, stoning and the like because of diversity. I asserted that these practices were not civilized. I never raised my voice or cursed, I simply used logic.
Later the manager of HR came and sat down in my cubical, something that had never happened before. He quietly said that I had been reported for (I don’t recall the exact phrase) politically incorrect thoughts and actions. He suggested that I never speak to the black technician again; advice I took to heart.
What struck me was how deadly serious the HR manager was. He clearly thought I had done something dangerous that, if it continued, he would be forced to address.
I’m curious... when did this happen? Recently, or in pre-Obama days?
And, Maybe he thought talking to this privileged black technician was in itself dangerous because said person was more than a little nuts, but in a difficult to remove favored group.
The father will probably try to kill the mother and baby if given the chance, too. Since he is in a medieval country, the punishment for the shooter should be death by the most barbaric and slow method available and the sentence widely publicized to all as a deterrent against any copycats.

What an idiot. Never mind that your wife made it through delivery safely and you have a new child. The Baby Doctor needs to think about it; “This is the religion that I belong to, and many will defend the husband’s actions. Do I really wish to belong to such a barbaric, self limiting cult?

I don’t recall who was president. It probably wasn’t about black privilege, although that certainly existed. A white who was not highly placed could be dismissed based on one complaint of racism, no questions asked. If the white was higher placed, say in management or a valued engineer, nothing happened that I was aware of.
However, we were all given classes on “ethics.” I put quotes on it because the classes were on political correctness. We were, for example, forbidden to tell jokes because you don’t know who you might offend. We were supposed “confront” and then report people who said racist, homophobic, or sexist statements. If we didn’t confront and report we were “condoners.” Being a condoner was as bad as being a racist, homophobe or sexist.
I was reminded of stories I read about how people lived through their Hitler Youth days by saying only ridiculously positive things like, “my, aren’t we having such a good time here at Hitler Youth camp.”
The requirement for these training sessions was in our government contracts.

I'm guessing it contained the word "inappropriate", something the HR people love to use. It is a liberal dream word, because they can define it to mean anything which they means it to mean.
And the woman gynecologist BETTER NOT be educated!!!
