Ted Cruz and his allies are preparing for the coming National GOP Convention. According to NBC News, Cruz who recently attended a GOP convention in Texas told his supporters that the days ahead will be "challenging" for the Republican Party. He, however, expressed hope that those who remain loyal to him and the party "will be the remnant, will be the core of pulling this country back from the abyss."
Aside from this pronouncement, [he] has remained mum about whether he will throw his support for presumptive nominee Donald Trump. According to the NBC report, the support of Cruz and his allies in Texas is needed by Trump if he is squaring off with Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for the presidential elections. A Texan party elder, Steve Munisteri said that "Ted Cruz has led a national movement, a conservative movement. We certainly need solid conservatives to be behind our nominee [Trump.]"

Despite his failure to win over Trump, ... he is still hoping that when he attends the National Convention,... he will be able to bring about key changes in how the party governs itself and picks its presidential nominee. Aside from changes in rules, the party will also be working out its "official policy platform" as well as "determine how much power the RNC has to make new rules of its own."

There would be no reason to hold a primary election if the delegates were not bound to the voters decision and the election results.

Ted will never be elected by a popular vote. So he seeks RULES CHANGES so that his chosen delegates will select him.
We need to contact all delegates and the RNC convention rules committee and let them know that, 'We the people' demand a voice and will not stand for this garbage. He wants to smother your vote and your voice. This was rumored, but this is the first time that I've seen his plan in print.

Steve Munisteri was running the Texas GOP before he signed on to Ted Cruz’s campaign.
I have nothing but praise for Steve Munisteri. And I voted for Ted Cruz in the Primary.
BUT, I am totally behind Donald Trump now. It is over. It is TIME to end the division and beat Der Hildebeast. Drive a stake through her political heart. End it.
But it is also TIME to clean out the nest of scheming vermin who have been running the GOPe. They do not act for the nation, only for themselves and their funders.

If Trump takes Oregon tonight, he will be about 60 delegates short of the 1237,
About 330 delegates remain, finishing out this primary season.
When Trump does get a solid 1237, Cruz and Co can go suck eggs. Trump will OWN the party.
