Ted Cruz and his allies are preparing for the coming National GOP Convention. According to NBC News, Cruz who recently attended a GOP convention in Texas told his supporters that the days ahead will be "challenging" for the Republican Party. He, however, expressed hope that those who remain loyal to him and the party "will be the remnant, will be the core of pulling this country back from the abyss."
Aside from this pronouncement, [he] has remained mum about whether he will throw his support for presumptive nominee Donald Trump. According to the NBC report, the support of Cruz and his allies in Texas is needed by Trump if he is squaring off with Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for the presidential elections. A Texan party elder, Steve Munisteri said that "Ted Cruz has led a national movement, a conservative movement. We certainly need solid conservatives to be behind our nominee [Trump.]"
... Cruz and his allies in the Republican Party are EYEING TO CONTINUE THEIR FIGHT TO RUN THE PARTY. Despite his failure to win over Trump, ... he is still hoping that when he attends the National Convention,... he will be able to bring about key changes in how the party governs itself and picks its presidential nominee. Aside from changes in rules, the party will also be working out its "official policy platform" as well as "determine how much power the RNC has to make new rules of its own."

I initially liked him. Still have his website bookmarked. However, my wife disliked him from the beginning. She said she didn’t trust him. Just something about him that she couldn’t put her finger on so to speak.

I have been posting and updating from Greenpapers religiously throughout the race, I recognize the difference between open and closed primaries. And Open primaries have been beneficial to republicans in some states.
When a delegate is no longer bound by party rule to the candidate that wins, he is an unbound super delegate. There is no real reason to hold elections if they have no impact or meaning.
That has been Curly Haugland’s proposal for years, and Ted seems to want the same in order to benefit his pathetic odds of winning a real election.
Ted loves elections where .003% of the crooked caucuses selects him.
His surrogates reduced the Wyoming caucus group by 65% this year. Shoot, at that rate, in 2020, the entire Wyoming caucus will fit into a trailer-doublewide.
99% for Cruz and 1 delegate for whomever.

Whether you doubt a vote was changed or not doesn’t have any bearing on whether a vote was changed or not.
The campaign tried to do exactly that.
And it fits in with how Cruz behaved for the rest of the time.
People didn’t make an image of his head on a snake for nothing.
He has earned every bit of his low reputation and distrust.
I would not vote for this guy for any reason now, and I supported him totally when he first announced.
He’s come a long way down.
