This country is called America the Beautiful for a reason, so we decided to take a closer look. Here, the most stunning place in every single U.S. state. Cue all of the wanderlust.

Does 421 cross I 40 in winston Salem? I thought maybe it was I 64/77.

Some pretty pictures but their choices leave a lot to be desired. Virginia’s choice is especially disappointing. I can think of 100 places along SkyLine Drive and the Blue Ridge Train, not to mention the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay.
The most beautiful spot in Maryland is any roadway with a sign that reads “Leaving Maryland”...
421 merges with I-40 from Winston-Salem to Greensboro. I-77 has a stunning view of the Piedmont, Pilot Mountain and the Blue Ridge coming down out of Virginia, but I’m not sure you could pick out Grandfather from there.
Disregard the last post. I looked it up. It’s I-74/ US-52 just south of the NC/ Virginia line.

Proving once again that Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder.

As far as I’m concerned the most beautiful spot in Georgia is the Top of the Tennessee trail on Black Rock Mountain In Clayton, GA the third week of Oct. You can see five states and the leaves are breathtaking.
...or it could be I-77 just north of the I-74/US-52 interchange. That’s it for sure.

Wow.
Very impressive photos. I agree with the entire list.
Well done. Thank you.
The Pennsylvania shot was actually just a shot of the night sky, with a few pine trees framing it.
So the sky is special in PA? haha
I live here. Better choices would have been the Pocono Mountains, Valley Forge, or Gettysburg.
Google Maps has a very cool “street view” for the paths around Letchworth State Park.
Washington State: Jade Lake.
Honestly, I’ve never heard of it and am not quite sure where it is.
No way Garden of the Gods is the most beautiful place in Colorado though.
I agree. You can see that sky anywhere.
One thing I like about the presentation is that its all on one page.
I like scrolling better than clicking.
“But much of Upstate NY is stunning in its beauty and far more rural and downright desolate than people would imagine.”

I agree.
I live in MA and we vacationed Upstate for years.
I used to BEG my co-workers to give it a try but they seemed to be stuck on Northern New England.
.
I pretty much disagree with most of them. Wyoming for instance. There is no more beautiful sight in America than the Grand Tetons. Look at any calendar that uses landscape pictures and you will find the Grand Teton picture.
The word “unique” should be the in the title —— not “beautiful”
IMMHO.
Yep - folks usually think the "City" when the think of NYS - most of the State is wide open with a lot of quaint small towns and riddled with beautiful country.
I know my most favorite spot in New York, was New York in my review mirror when I left.
