A month after slithering into the ceiling of Washingtons Tacoma General Hospital, a white ball python is back with its owner.
Sources say a visitor brought the snake to the hospital in a cat carrier full of stuffed animals. After the owner went home, he realized his python had escaped and notified the hospital, according to KCPQ.
Hospital workers said they didnt think anything of it because they see strange things happen all the time. The snake was found, when it came out of the ceiling ventilation on April 30, said Marce Edwards with MultiCare Health System.
Edwards confirmed that the owner picked up his fugitive pet reptile and took it home. Its not clear what the snake was eating and drinking while living in the hidden passageways and ceiling areas of the facility.
As terrifying as it might be for someone confined to a hospital bed to see a snake drop from the ceiling, no one was ever in any real danger.
Ball python snakes are not venomous and the constrictors dont usually get large enough to pose a danger to humans.
My friend who lives in TX was seated on the porcelain throne when a rattlesnake fell through the acoustic tile ceiling, and landed right by her feet.
I never use the bathroom at her house.
Good thing that it didnt fall from the ceiling in the cardiac ward. The warnings from the monitors would have sounded like a jet taking off.
My daughter-in-law spied a tarantula this size of a baseball in the corner on the ceiling of my grandson’s crib—she was very cool, calm and collected luckily and did not scream so spider did not drop from ceiling into the crib...
Actually, she initially thought it was a prank on the part of my son...It wasn’t. They are not aggressive spiders, but yikes how scary!!!
That sort of thing could cause one to dirty their britches, if she didn’t already have them down.
Years ago, I had a waterbed which sprung a leak. The water was captured in the lining and when I began to drain that, I found a dead black widow floating upside down with its red hourglass up for the world to see. It looked just like plastic and I immediately thought my brother was playing a trick on me. He swore he hadn't. Finally, I took the spider out and stuck it with a knife point. Sure enough, spider stuff came out. I wondered how long I had slept with a black widow in my bed.
Thinking of you...

John Cleese did say he was retiring from showbiz to do something more interesting ...
Everybody finds free snakes except me.
:-P
Whitesnake, making a comeback!
Monty Python’s Falling Circus . . .
DANG!
Let’s have the rest of the story. What happened to the snake?
Rest of snake falls out of ceiling while my friend is sitting on the toilet..
She put her boot behind it’s head to immobilise it, then stomped it’s head with her left boot. She is a Proverbs 31:30
gal..doesn’t fear snakes, javelinas, loading rambunctious cattle.
An excellent method of complete bowel evacuation.
I like her thinking under pressure to immobilize it and stomp on it. Good for her. :)
