OH, are you right about that! The past couple months, our cat starts walking all over me at about 5:15 a.m. Gets in my face and meows after a few minutes. I have been doing my best to feign sleep until the alarm goes off at 5:55, so he does not think I will jump up and let him go out just because he’s meowing in my face. But sometimes he plunks himself on my gut, and there is bladder pressure. At no other time does he walk clear up to my chest/shoulders area, other than before 5:30 a.m.
The bright side of this is that he has barely used the litter box for many months, prefers to do his business outside.
Don’t forget potting soil!

Where do you get the seeds? I prefer to raise my own.
It IS very good when they decide they’d rather go outside
instead of potty inside. Brutus’s litterbox has sat
unused for a month now; ever since Fang put her a little
“cat window” in his office. (Only problem; she hauls in
voles, mice, birds (dead or alive) flying lizards, etc.)
Some of these kittie’s fur coats look a bit dry. They need
a teaspoon of oil or grease in their food once in a
while. Also, a good brushing helps distribute the oil
through their fur. (Bless ‘em. They only have one little
outfit to last them all their lives; and they do try to
take care of it & groom themselves daily.)
So cute. Cats are cool.
