BOMBSHELL: Ted Cruz Makes Plan To DROP OUT OF THE RACE!
The Politidcal Insider ^ | 2/29/16 | Kosar

A long-time political insider just made a bombshell announcement about conservative Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who is running for President.

This Republican operative, who has worked on 9 different presidential cycles, couldn’t keep it quiet any longer after being in talks with key leaders of Cruz’s and Senator Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) campaigns.

The insider is Roger Stone. He once worked for Donald Trump, and passed along his report to a popular radio host that Cruz used a high-priced attorney to confidentially request that Rubio’s team promise Cruz a Supreme Court appointment in exchange for Cruz exciting the race. This is in addition to recent reports that the candidates’ wives have been in contact, discussing why someone dropping out is essential.

You Said, "Cruz merely said that Rubio is preferable to Trump. Duh. Of course Rubio is preferable.

No, Cruz said that he and Marco "would make a much better candidate and President than Donald." Aside from the fact this a specious statement given the fact that Trump has won three primaries handily and finished a strong second in the other one, Cruz is endorsing Rubio with this statement. If if comes down to Trump or Rubio, Cruz will go with Rubio. Duh.

So you will not support Trump or Rubio regardless. Only Cruz will do. Good luck because Cruz is not going to get the nomination. He is not going to get the number of delegates needed to sew up the nomination and if there is a brokered convention, no way will he get it. It's over for Cruz.

One of them has to drop out after Super Tuesday for the good of the country.

It shouldn’t be the one with the second-most delegates.

And Cruz would be wasted on the SC.

But he is a man of high integrity.

Too bad there aren’t more like him.

I predicted this yesterday . He will throw all support to Rubio and hope that if Rubio wins he’ll get a SCOTUS seat .

i think the story got twisted......
doesn’t it make more sense for either rubio or cruz to negotiate with trump.... the guy in the lead...
poor bet to think cruz voters will go to rubio...
more likely rubio drops out and supports cruz .... or if lookig for something ...with trump
who in their right mind negotiaes with the third place loser....
i’m sure ther is a lot of trail ballons flown to the losers...
krispy kreme jumped first.. and he will get a lifetime of doughnuts for his support..
rubio now has the bush/romney/ globalist new world order $100 million behind him allegedly...
guess tuesday will give more facts....

Trump will pick the running mate who brings the most to the table; after the verbal lashing they’ve been giving each other, and the whole birther angle, mitigates against Cruz as the VP pick. Cruz’ performance in the primaries hasn’t exactly fed the view that he’d help deliver the very conservative vote — it has however shown that there is no very conservative vote.

A politician running a nasty campaign? Say it isn’t so! Thank goodness Trump isn’t doing that.

Seriously, Ted Cruz is as imperfect as the rest of us - but I really do not doubt his being a conservative, as being aligned with keeping true to the constitution, or his values. I see his weakness as not having been in the armed services and not having led a large private sector business.

I do see Trump as being able to execute unlike any other candidate. A CEO thinks and acts differently than a politician. This is his core strength and value proposition to the American people. I’ll vote Trump if he wins the primary.

Don’t blame me. I didn’t write it. Besides, I’m voting for Cruz tomorrow.

If it’s true, which I doubt, Cruz has no play in endorsing Rubio. Rubio isn’t going to beat Trump in delegates. IF Cruz is greedy for the supreme court his best bet is to back Trump.

Funny, I provided written evidence, written by a third party on 2/26/16 that Stone is indeed advising Trump. Show me something more recent than that that says Stone is not working for Trump.

The only unsubstantiated opinion being touted at this point is yours.

You accept that Rasley has the inside to the Trump campaign. I do not have to share the opinion. I will accept that the Trump campaign knows a bit more than Rasley on this particular topic. Have a good day!

They say if Cruz gets less than 50% in TX, which he will, it’s over for him by the math. It’s already over for Rubot so he’d be crazy to support him. The smart move would be to endorse Trump.

It is a dirty trick.

Trump fans denounce Cruz for supposedly pushing the narrative that Carson was dropping out after Iowa.

Now Trump fans are pushing this narrative hard, though all evidence is to the contrary.

When they perceive “tricks” done by other campaigns, they cry foul. But when their campaign does the nasty tricks, then they rejoice.

Double standard? Seems like it.
