A long-time political insider just made a bombshell announcement about conservative Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who is running for President.
This Republican operative, who has worked on 9 different presidential cycles, couldn’t keep it quiet any longer after being in talks with key leaders of Cruz’s and Senator Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) campaigns.
The insider is Roger Stone. He once worked for Donald Trump, and passed along his report to a popular radio host that Cruz used a high-priced attorney to confidentially request that Rubio’s team promise Cruz a Supreme Court appointment in exchange for Cruz exciting the race. This is in addition to recent reports that the candidates’ wives have been in contact, discussing why someone dropping out is essential.

Why didn’t Green of Hobby Lobby back Cruz? He backed Rubio instead. Very interesting.
If that is the case, if Ted endorse Rubio then that in itself is very telling. If Ted endorsed Trump than all this hitting back and forth was a Kabuki Theater to throw off the Establishment.
I like both Donald and Ted, and would support any one of the 2 for nominee except for the others.

Ted Cruz has $100 million plus in donations from rich donors then he hoodwinks the ones he voted to get nuked for additional donations. What does he need an addition to on of his new homes?

He should have backed Cruz not Rubio.
Cruz helped Hobby Lobby win their suit.
Same with Tom Coburn...did not back Cruz, went to Rubio, even though he was adamantly opposed to Gang of Eight.

First not so: The Sessions endorsement. It is no doubt disappointing to Cruz that Jeff Sessions has endorsed Donald Trump, but it is certainly no death knell to his campaign. That’s absurd.
Second not so: the so called Rubio endorsement: Cruz merely said that Rubio is preferable to Trump. Duh. Of course Rubio is preferable. Rubio is many not-so-good things, but he isn’t a narcissistic, pompous, authoritarian-minded, thin-skinned braggart, completely lacking the temperament to serve as President.
Time will tell if it is sleaze or not...just like time told the real story of Cruz campaign ethics in Iowa.
