Who should I vote for?

Posted on 02/23/2016 7:10:02 AM PST by 2nd Amendment

I've got a dilemna here. I've been a Cruz supporter for several years. I feel firmly that Trump is a disaster waiting to happen. Is Rubio a better antitrump candidate than Cruz? Should I shift my primary vote March 1 in GA. to Rubio because he has a better chance of defeating Cruz. I believe Cruz is a good christian conservative and Rubio is a younger Reagan. Which one should I vote for?

Cruz and Rubio have already been elected to public office and crapped on you. They have shown who they are. Calling Trump a ‘train wreck’ is a BS political meme by the donor class. Vote Trump if you want change. Both CRuz and Rubio will make sure that the ‘call to prayer’ is broadcast five times a day in every small town across this country. Your choice.

I voted for him this morning in early voting. Painless and sense of “take that, you effing GOPe!”

Rubio is not a younger Reagan and you know it. I think you may be a GOPe Rubio supporter. Conservatives think.

It’s a dilemna for sure. 4 months ago, I probably would have held my nose and voted for Trump if he were the nominee.

Now, if Cruz fails, I’ll probably just sit this one out.

I’m being slightly rhetorical. My wife and many other people I know are in the same camp. I will pray about my vote and seek guidance. I just can’t pull the lever for a thrice-married narcissist who trashes people and can’t admit his need of forgiveness!

Stay with Cruz. That’s what I’m doing when I vote on March 15. Nothing is decided yet, it’s still early. Indeed, you’ll be voting on March 1, even earlier than I. But if Cruz should not happen to make it, then, yes, Rubio would be the best choice to stop Trump.

Why do you ask?

Understand, but you don’t want her to vote for Rubio do you? If I had my druthers, I’d see Rubio’s butt finished and done since he’s now the darling GOPe savior. Amnesty Gang of Eight Snake.

why don't you vote for the candidate that is strongest in support of the 2nd Amendment.

That would be Trump!

Yeah, that "assault weapons" ban that he supported demonstrates real commitment to the 2nd Amendment. About the only candidate weaker than Trump on the 2nd Amendment was Chris Christie and he has dropped out of the race.

Vote against the Democrat. It then doesn’t matter if there’s a good conservative/republican candidate or a gutter dwelling piece of crap.

The end result is the same.

Do you want the GOPe to win? If so vote Rubio. If you want to slow Teump down and give the GOPe more time against Trump vote Cruz. If you want to defeat the GOPe then vote Trump.

Do your research on all of them and vote with your head.

I voted for Cruz in the primary, but if he is not the candidate, I will vote against the democrat in November.

I haven’t voted for a republican since 1984.

Maybe this will help. There is CA lot more like this out there.

Donald Trump, Jr. Speaks 2-22-16 Elko NV.
https://youtu.be/1IqfRbjcpDY

It’s a Q and A. Don Jr is more articulate than most candidates in the race! Talks fast, not in a patronizing way and not like he’s lecturing. Lots about government waste, small government, “the left”, the constitution, the second amendment.

“I’m probably the only billionaire’s son more comfortable in a D-10 Cat than a golf cart.”

He personally reloads 100 different calibers.

Don Jr is part of the full court press from Trump.

Very impressive.

Because I value the opinions on FreeRepublic. I’ve been a member for over 15 years and the amount of knowledge on this sight is tremendous. Other than the occasional “stuned beeber” there is some great people here. The Trump mania has me baffled, however.

Primaries are the time to vote your conscience.

Agreed. Cruz stands for all the things I believe in as a social and constitutional conservative. That's why I'm gladly voting for him.

If you vote for Rubio, you are voting for total amnesty and 20-50 million newly legalized illegal aliens who will entrench themselves to our financial aorta. It will be the death knell for our entire security and stability let alone ushering a new and more visceral cabal of ‘Democrat’ politicians who will be utterly ruthless.

Pray on it. For me, I vote March 1 in MN and I’m sticking with Cruz. And BTW — no way in heck do I trust Rubio again after he lied to his voters and promised to fight amnesty. For me, Cruz or Trump, there are no other choices.

And go tell your boss Erick Erickson that the mask if off his clown act.

Absurd that the same advocate for Romney, Erickson, now wants to posture as if his opposition to Trump is anything other then an act of childish spite and ego

Odd how the “outsider” Erickson always lines up with whomever the GOP money men tell him to. Easy to talk all tough about the GA GOP Eric, try breaking ranks with DC once and I might take your seriously.
