Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia reported dead
The Dallas Morning News ^ | 2/13/2016 | Julie Fancher

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died of apparent natural causes Saturday on a luxury resort in West Texas, the San Antonio-Express News reported.

Scalia, 79, was a guest at the Cibolo Creek Ranch, a resort in the Big Bend region south of Marfa, the paper reported.

According to a report, Scalia, an associate justice, arrived at the ranch on Friday and attended a private party with about 40 people. When he did not appear for breakfast, a person associated with the ranch went to his room and found a body.

The U.S. Marshal Service, the Presidio County sheriff and the FBI were involved in the investigation, the paper reported.

A federal official who asked not to be named told the paper there was no evidence of foul play and it appeared that Scalia died of natural causes.

Scalia, the longest serving justice on the Court, was nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1986 by President Ronald Reagan. He was the first Italian-American justice.

Gov. Greg Abbott released a statement confirming Scalia’s death and calling him a “man of God, a patriot, and an unwavering defender of the written Constitution and the Rule of Law.”

“He was the solid rock who turned away so many attempts to depart from and distort the Constitution,” the statement said. “His fierce loyalty to the Constitution set an unmatched example, not just for judges and lawyers, but for all Americans. We mourn his passing, and we pray that his successor on the Supreme Court will take his place as a champion for the written Constitution and the Rule of Law.”

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz called Scalia a “champion of our liberties and a stalwart defender of the Constitution.”

Its time to permanently neutralize this lawless bunch of degenerates who call themselves the Supreme Court.

NO SENATE VOTE ON ANY nomination by the communist ANIMAL in the White House, then 7 new appointees by Trump bringing the number to 15, thereby taking this current menagerie of homosexuals, eggheads, marxists and blackmail victims out of any position to stop a hard right agenda to make this country great again.

This is an opportunity from GOD.

The war on the least important branch of government who has assumed unconstitutional and dictatorial powers and is complicit in the degeneration of the United States has begun.

Good thing Republicans now control the Senate, which has to confirm any SC nominee.

The Senate is led by the principled Mitch McConnell. /S

Who in the Senate needs the most public pressure to knock Obama’s bolshevik appointee down?

“We can’t risk voting for anyone but Ted Cruz.”

I wont vote for the guy because his crass supporters are rushing to use his dead body as a campaign prop.

Knock it off!

It was wrong when FDR tried it, and it would be wrong now.

Oh, no,
Surely it was a conspiracy and he was shot with a magic dart made
of ice that melted away and was thus undetectable and Obama did it.
Valerie Jarret made the frozen dart and commanded Obama to shoot
it at Scalia, and Ninja Frogmen provided the intel for the operation.

Karl Rove and Soros probably kicked in moneys for it and the
Bildeburgers likely sanctioned the whole deal. Derp.

This is incredibly consequential considering the 5-4 make-up of the court, and considering that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been widely rumored to be considering leaving the court.

If Obama is able to replace Scalia and Ginsburg the Supreme Court could shift to 3-6 in favor of liberal ideological worldview prior to the end of President Obama’s term in office.

Scalia’s unexpected passing sets up a politically charged battle to replace him. Mere moments after his death was confirmed, Conn Carroll, a key staffer for Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), promised Republicans would block anyone that Obama nominated.

I trust Trump more than Ted.

Trump is a good judge of character.

Ted recommended Justice Roberts. Ted trusted Obama when Ted was promoting TPA (Yeah Ted did change his mind at the very last minute). Ted has selected campaign managers who use deceptive tactics.

And nominated Ted is going to give us Hillary and Justice Obama.

“”Horrible news if true. Especially with a communist in the White House.””

True and so sad to lose him. Frightening to think of who will be selected by obozo. Hope the Senate sits on a nomination!!! That ought to send obozo right over the edge to have that fight on his hands..hope he loses it, both literally and figuratively....

No cases will be decided until his replacement is decided, right? They may as well go home. Decisions come out in June, recess until October..

As for riots in the streets, those need to be organizing immediately. After the appointment, it won’t matter. Even before, it’s not likely to matter as the Senate is already getting into the bend over position. They’ve caved and kissed The Terrorist in Chief’s buttocks every hour on the hour and it’s not going to change.

I’m so happy that a great, and wise man like justice Scalia existed and held the line for the Constitution. I’m not going to be dispirited about his passing. The world has survived much worse than that bastard Obama. Hoping for the best for our country.

The lack of outrage and info is very strange! Like it’s not even possible that he could’ve been MURDERED?? This isn’t just sad, it could be suspicious! No investigation?? Just on to the memorial, that’s it??

Bird hunting, hmmm?

There is a hawk that is picking the birds out of our sky,
She killed the pigeons of peace and security,
She has taken honesty and confidence from nations and men,
She is hunting the lonely heron of liberty.
She loads the arts with nonsense, she is very cunning
Science with dreams and the state with powers to catch them at last.
Nothing will escape her at last, flying nor running.
This is the hawk that picks out the star’s eyes.
This is the only hunter that will ever catch the wild swan;
The prey she will take last is the wild white swan of the beauty of things.
Then she will be alone, pure destruction, achieved and supreme,
Empty darkness under the death-tent wings.
She will build a nest of the swan’s bones and hatch a new brood,
Hang new heavens with new birds, all be renewed.

And THAT is WAR...PERIOD.

OMG, ofcourse he would say that It doesn’t mean anything. You people sure reach - he loves his sister, what’s he supposed to say? He also said his favorite SC justices were Scalia and Thomas. Guess you missed that in your Trump hatred rhetoric. Get lost!
