I’ve been thinking about this since posting, and I think you are right. I have NEVER been one to anticipate last minute marshall law by the Dalai Bama, but with THIS, I could envision several scenarios which could lead to that.
So what? He disagreed with Scalia on that issue. No big deal, but, Cruzbots have to make a big fricking deal out of everything - they are desperate.

It was said up thread there should be riots if the Senate caves on whomever Obama nominates. That would be the perfect excuse for him to declare martial law. Just the treat of martial law would be enough for the Senate to cave. It will be a vicious circle with any number of starting points but the end point is all the same.
Who will enforce Martial Law? There are not enough Police,National Guard, or Military Forces to enforce Martial Law in this country. In a smaller country, county,city, or town yes. This country would be much harder.

I think our kids will see a civil war. The debt will implode the economy. States will go their separate ways. Feds will roll tanks into states. That is the Hope and Change road that Obama has set our notion on. Bankruptcy.
We are 20 trillion in debt. It’s going to accelerate like a bomb for a future president. Like the Soviet Union. The unthinkable becomes a reality.
