Donald Trump is unelectable because he is disliked by a large majority of the American population anything after that has been invalidated

Interesting piece, but it was obviously written before the New Hampshire votes were counted. It now seems out of touch with the reality of what is currently going on. Trump’s high negatives on the Democrat side are to be expected. Newsflash! The ones who say they oppose him the most also fear him the most.

Ted Cruz has already walked through the fire of Senate "sell-out", ..especially by members of his own party.
He is a man of principle, and action based on his principles.
He is resented by other members of the Senate who have already sold out ,
and no longer adwquately represent their constituents.
The "Beltway" disapproves of his quick rise to power and moral honor.

"...Cruz sent word to...Mitch McConnell that he was placing a hold on all State Department nominees until Obama comes clean on the Iran deal."
Still taking care of business despite toiling on the campaign trail.
You can tell a lot about someone's character by who their enemies are.

The reason Ted Cruz is disliked within the beltway is because he can’t seem to play nice with anyone. In many scenarios this might be seen as a positive attribute, unfortunately it is not a quality that is helpful to someone who wants to lead.

cruise is disliked outside the beltway. That's his real problem.

I always figured that they dislike Cruz because he’s the smartest guy in the room! It’s always hard for the smartest guy to gain any respect from his lesser peers. It’s that old green-eyed devil!

I’ll take Ted Cruz any day over the dishonest, corrupt Washington insiders who supposedly dislike him so much.

I am not happy with what is going on inside the beltway.
Sen. Cruz walked in and made the sins of the elected officials public.
The establishment, both parties hate him for peeing on their party.
Thank you Sen. Cruz, God speed and throw all the bass turds out.

It would be nice to think that Ted's being hated inside the Beltway meant that he was loved outside of it, but things don't work out so neatly in real life.
Maybe it's not about being loved or hated but about how much staying power a politician has with people.
Of course, candidates people really don't want to put up with have been elected simply because people hated their opponents even more.
