I always figured that they dislike Cruz because he’s the smartest guy in the room! It’s always hard for the smartest guy to gain any respect from his lesser peers. It’s that old green-eyed devil!
I would have no problem pulling the lever for Ted Cruz. The guy is solid on the issues, but I do not believe in self delusion. Let’s be honest, Cruz’s personality stinks. The reason he is disliked is that he is what the common folk call an a*****e. I’m not talking politics here, just person to person interaction. I would vote for him in a second, but if he lived next door, I would avoid him like the plague.
