Manning just isn't the same
SUPER BOWL 50 | 07 FEBRUARY 2016 | EEE

Denver should put the backup QB in. Manning clearly isn't as good as he used to be. His passes aren't sharp but Denver's defense is keeping him in the game. I want him to win but this is a team game.

Newton pouted like a 14 year old kid during the press conference, had a hoodie on the whole time, then got mad, got up and left. Real class. But it’s to be expected from a spoiled, rotten, overrated thug. Anyone notice when the Naitonal Anthem was being sang he both hands swung over his shoulder, not his heart?

Are you just know noticing Peyton isn't as good as he used to be? There have been mountains of articles written about Peyton's decline in the last several years. This was his last game, so leave him alone. He will be 40 next month and now he is able to go out a winner. Both QBs were not so good. It was a defensive game. Peyton is good for only about 20 throws a game, now and he threw 23 and he did his part. They were winning and you want him taken out...good god, you are a moron. Please don't do these vanity posts anymore. They embarrass you.

“I thought Bruno Mars did great at halftime and stole the show.”

Yup. One old white guy singing bubblegum melodies in front of a set that looked like ‘Its a Small World.”

One overdone, coarse Beyonce singing whatever in front of her silly black clad posse in a thong-ish outfit.

And Bruno Mars—great singer great dancer.

Manning had the same problem Newton did - his folks can't protect him form the defense.

It would not help to replace him - he sparked the team when they put him back in a few games ago and it would likely demoralize them a bit to do a swap in the Super Bowl while the defense is doing such an exceptional job of pushing them mover the top.

He has the perfect retirement scenario now - come back when the word was his neck injury would be the end of him, spark a team back to greatness, overcome another injury and subsequent decisions to become the oldest QB to start, then win a Super Bowl, and have been a solid team player even when it looked like he would play no more.

My hat's off to him...

Manning stood with his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.

Cam Newton DID NOT.

Yea out of the 3 of them Bruno Mars was the best. Maybe we should have just done another Bruno Mars and ?? halftime show. Anything would have been better than Coldplay and Beyonce

Cam Newton acted like a sullen little girl at the press conference.

He kept putting his hand on his face—which is a feminine characteristic.

He was obviously totally destroyed by what happened.

Cam is a millenial and acted as such; a spoiled, petulant boy-child.

I always try and notice those things too. (Because I stand for the song in my house!) But while I know who Peyton Manning is I really couldn’t pick Newton out of a line up, but thanks for telling me because it fits right in with the rest of his bad attitude.

You really can’t be a sore loser, oh sure you can BE sore, but don’t act like one. Esp. when you are a star player in the big leagues, it just makes you look like a big baby.

The SuperBowl Half-time show was a tribute to Black Power, however, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Black Panthers, who succeeded about as well as the Carolina Panthers. Beyonce’s fake cartridge belt may have contained a few actual cartridges, minus their primers. The large X that the 50 black women in paramilitary uniforms and black berets formed, of course, honored Malcolm X, the racist white-hater. Was the conventional US media silent on this? Then go read the British press!
