In spite of fears to the contary. I thought Lady Gaga not only looked respecable, but she sang the National Anthem with respect.
Wow she has a great voice
Whew! I dreaded the moment when La’Ga-Ga was to began singing the anthem. I know how over the top crazy she can be. I’m glad she played it classy, from the sounds of it. No nudity, no meat dress and nothing satanic.
What is that?
So....plenty to note about GaGa and how weird she is. But let’s be honest here: she’s a genius.
Moreover, her work/tour with Tony Bennett is deserving of the highest praise that we can give. He is a national treasure. And she has helped secure his place in history, and to make him better known even in the twilight of his amazing career.
Lady GaGa deserves our gratitude. That sounds weird; but it’s true.
I didn’t see today, but I’m not the least bit surprised that she delivered. She loves a musical challenge.
Nothing compares to Whitney on that day. Not even Whitney herself could ever top that performance.

Are you talking about Coldplay? I don’t know anything about them. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song they’ve done.
Very well timed by the Blue Angels, as well. A fly over like that always sucks when you don’t know how long somebody is going to butcher the National Anthem. From start to finish without improvisation it takes just over a minute.
The late Whitney Houstons version was spectacular...Lady GaGa’s performance today was up there near the top. It was that good.

I like sparkly, but the eyeshadow was a bit much for my tastes. Her suit wasn’t bad. We’ve seen and heard worse. I dread Beyoncé at half-time, but I am recording so I can skip the garbage
She did a good job singing. It has been reported that she was dropping the weird act. I could tell she had talent and a good voice but didn’t like one bit her act.
I’m not a fan either, but she delivered! I like to think of Whitney as she was back then & not what she became. She was so beautiful & talented. “ I Will Always Love You”, one of my favorites.
