Rubio is winning me over
2/6/16 | Terry Garvey

How anyone in the debate audience could boo Marco Rubio for saying the Obama knows exactly what he is doing and is not incompetent is incomprehensible to me. Obama is intentionally destroying the US and anyone who would boo someone for saying that is an idiot.

Yes, it seemed he was using many poll-tested ideas—fast talker...Reminded me of some kind of infomercial salesman...

He talks a good line, but what about his record? As they say in Rhode Island, he’s all hat and no cattle.

I agree when given a choice between Rubio or Clinton

Rubio IS Obama.

He’s trying to separate himself from it.

It’s very discouraging most of the republican candidates can’t or won’t see what Rubio, you, and most of us on FR can clearly see: 0bama is engaged in the systematic, willful, calculated destruction (transformation) of our country. I give Rubio a lot of credit for pointing that out and not backing down from it.

RUBIO ended his run when CHRISTIE shellacked him for his talking points answers. He looked weak and fake.

That being said, RUBIO’S answer on life was very powerful. However, his votes don’t match his rhetoric.

Rubio missed the chance to stand up for the unborn, when he skipped a vote on a continuing resolution that contained funding for Planned Parenthood until December 11, 2015. Obviously you don’t know ANYTHING about Marco. You need to educate yourself about the candidates and not just listen to the debates.

Whether or not Obama is trying to destroy the country, or whether he is simply incompetent, could not matter less.

Rubio is a distant 4th or 3rd in terms of the whole line up for me, behind Trump, Cruz and Carson.

Obama is an idiot. He is equivalent to a monkey wrench dropped into a set of complex gears.

Anyone who has examined his life's history learns pretty quickly the man is a fool but has a talent for fooling gullible people.

The lazy dope smoking idiot is not a diabolical mastermind. He's a fool who was put into a position of power by bigger fools.

If he were white, he wouldn't be President. He wouldn't be anything. His only talent is getting affirmative action goodies served up to himself.

Martha was the biggest embarrassment.

Rubio made a good comment on abortion. But he didn’t know when to quit. So he said he would rather lose.

No moderate wants to hear that. He just killed his chance of being the best hope for GOPe as his only attraction to them is that they think he can win and would do whatever it takes to win.

Rubio is too principled for GOPe. Watch GOPe split between Jeb, Cristie and Kasich.

Not sure why my post did not appear. The point I made was that Marco Rubio seems to be the only one who understands that Obama really is and what he is accomplishing. While the other GOP candidates think that Obama is a bumbling fool, Rubio understands that Obama is intentionally destroying America with great skill.

Rubio has talent, no doubt and some very good statements in this debate.

In 2012 I remember thinking he was the up-and-coming bright conservative light in the party, but I can never get past the promises he made to his Tea Party voters though. He got to DC and did the opposite on more than one issue. Hard to trust him, for me anyway.

I don’t hate Rubio, he’s better by far than Romney and McCain but we’ve still got Cruz. I’ve been supportive of Cruz from the beginning and none of the garbage attacks have shaken my support. After the debate tonight, it can certainly be argued Cruz is the only strong conservative with a chance. Maybe, the only one besides Carson.
