So Mark Levin, as predicted, went Beck on us imho (Glen Beck).

As fully expected, since he was already building up to it the day before, he is egging on this line of attack on Trump as reflecting "New York Values" - Cruz was told not to go there prior to the debate, but foolishly he went there, and there couldn't have been a more moronic move and insulting to all the 911 first responders, New York's finest, the NYC consruction workers, et all, and ... all just to try and take out Trump?

Since you were too much of a coward to ping Mr. Levin with your idiotic rant, I helped you out.

And when Trump says something explicitly liberal and Limbaugh, others criticize Trump you’ll say the same thing..

The thing, with regards to Cruz’s comment that he didn’t think through, is that much of the media is based in New York, and, rightly or wrongly, he just p*ssed them off. So he just created a lot of anger in a group that have the potential to do him harm. These are the kinds of things that a Trump instinctively understands but that Cruz doesn’t until he ends up suffering the negative consequences.

Beck called Trump a monster today on his radio show. He equated him with Obama. He has recently said any of his supporters have to be dishonest or just stupid. I just saw him on O’Reilly. He was subdued compared with what he says on his radio show. He said Trump was booed last night at the debate. Rush Limbaugh came on later and explained that NC establishment people were bussed in to boo Trump at the debate. Beck would have known that since he confers with Fox News people a lot and yet he said nothing.

Dear Mr Levin, if you read this thread please know you are not infallible.I’ve bought, read, and enjoyed 2 of your books but also know that I’ve already stopped listening to Beck. Trump is the only fighter on the field. All the rest are party boys or smooth talkers. Including Mr H1B Goldman & Sachs husband

It was Maria Bartoromo who brought it up at the debate. (Cruz had introduced the term on Tuesday on the Howie Carr radio show). Cruz could’ve walked it back then, but he doubled down:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

BARTIROMO: Senator, let me follow up and switch gears.

Senator Cruz, you suggested Mr. Trump, quote, “embodies New York values.” Could you explain what you mean by that?

CRUZ: You know, I think most people know exactly what New York values are.

BARTIROMO: I am from New York. I don’t.

CRUZ: What — what — you’re from New York? So you might not.

But I promise you, in the state of South Carolina, they do....

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Cruz was a little disingenuous to say it came from an interview Trump did on Meet The Press “not too many years ago,” but it was 1999.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

CRUZ: Not too many years ago, Donald did a long interview with Tim Russert. And in that interview, he explained his views on a whole host of issues that were very, very different from the views he’s describing now.

And his explanation — he said, “look, I’m from New York, that’s what we believe in New York. Those aren’t Iowa values, but this is what we believe in New York.” And so that was his explanation.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I could only take seven minutes of Levin today, he has gone from Winner in my book to Weiner. In fact, a pork weiner.

That's about how long I lasted with Levin today. He's great on some issues, but he's just not anyone I go to for candidate recommendations. Still recall almost falling out of my chair while he gave his endorsement of Orin Hatch for reelection. There was plenty known about Hatch at that point to make conservatives wish someone else had that Utah seat in the Senate.

Probably won't be listening much for while, at least until he gets off his candidate evaluations.

Cruz definitely made a misstep with the New York values insult. Setting one group of Americans against another is a classic Obama/Alinsky tactic, and Cruz shouldn’t have gone there.

I think Cruz’s mistake was to stereotype all New Yorkers as liberals...

By the same logic, someone could say something about “North Carolina” politicians values based on the actions of former governor Mark Sanford—his lying to his staff and citizens of the state, his affair, etc...but that would be stereotyping and a mistake...

There are good people (and not-so-good people) everywhere.

OH, and Levin has become a big disappointment. He is losing all credibility.

Beck has been crazy for some long while.

Levin is less familiar to me though I have read 2 of his books. Levin seems to control the narrative by simply blocking all dissenting opinions. Go ahead and take exception to his articles on his Face Book page. He will give you the hook tout suite. I surmise that he does that on the radio as well. I'd bet my house on it.

Difficult to respect Levin defenders after experiencing his version of the ‘fairness doctrine.’

So...you saying New York values are the same for both liberals and conservatives?

Beck is nuts. I knew he had been sliding down for a while, but he has become pathetic. Almost painful to watch.

I really like Mark and agree with him most of the time. However in this case I think he is wrong.

Evidently Levin did not read ‘Adios America’ where Trump most clearly did.

Give it a peek, you might just ‘Go Trump’ as well once you open your eyes to what he opened his to..

So is Cruz & Levin still Beck's BFF?

Is Cruz still passing out Teddy Bears to ILLEGAL ALIENS crossing the border into the US?

Is Levin off his Rubio BFF again?
