Bristol Palin Welcomes Second Child
Washington Examiner ^ | 12/25/2015 | Kelly Cohen

Bristol Palin, the daughter of 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has given birth to a second child.

Bristol Palin, who turned 25 in October and is a vocal advocate of sexual abstinence before marriage, tweeted Thursday that her "heart just doubled" at the birth of her new baby girl, Sailor Grace.

Palin announced she was pregnant in June, a few weeks after her engagement to Dakota Meyer , a 27-year-old U.S. Marine who received a 2009 Medal of Honor , was called off after a year-long relationship. Meyer tweeted a photo of the baby girl, too, writing: "Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing."

Palin's first pregnancy came when she was 17 in 2008 during Sarah Palin's vice presidential campaign. Tripp, who turns seven this weekend, is the son of Bristol'' previous ex-fiance, Levi Johnson, 25, whom she was with from 2005-10.

While I do know it is not in the best interest of a child to be raised with out both parents, if the worst consequence of a huge mistake is a new life then it’s not the worst thing in the world. A baby is always a blessing.

A friend’s daughter pretty much did the same thing (but married the second dad). She is an amazing homeschooling mom and a lovely helpmeet to her husband.

I realized that when I got a fundraising email from the Cruz campaign, mentioning that it was his birthday. Hard to believe he’s only 45. My son is 14.

Kind of a bummer. I thought about buying one, but it kind of defeats the point.

I’m a bit younger than her and I don’t know anyone my age who looks up to her or gives her the time of day. She’s a hypocrite. We all sin and make mistakes, but to make the same stupid mistake twice? More than twice? This isn’t like cheating on a test or lying. This is making a new human being and then depriving her of a stable and secure home environment. It’s contemptible in my opinion. She gets paid to be a good role model and then goes out and does what she says others shouldn’t do. That is so arrogant.

**Young people have a reputation for being rebellious and not necessarily following their parents’ advice.**

Bristol is a 25 y/o woman. She is not following her own advice.

I don’t know many 25 y/o who are making $300K/annum with only HS education.

I don’t know any 25 y/o who are making $300K/annum by selling something they don’t believe in themselves.

**I*m not going to have sex until I*m married. I can guarantee it,** Bristol vowed in a 2009 interview.

Is it *true* that Miss Palin claims she had planned her second pregnancy after initially calling it a *disappointment.* **This pregnancy was actually planned,** Palin wrote on her blog June 28?

Strange life choice that. Strange.

Apparently, celebrities and wanna-be celebrities have moved from the older masculine-sounding names (like Glenn, Daryl and Drew) to newer, stranger ones.

One can only wonder what kind of morals she would practice (if any) if she were not a Christian. One very public bad choice is one thing. To have it happen a second time, again, very publicly, tells us a lot about her commitment to God's Word. I wonder how many young believers are looking to her as their new role model as a way around those pesky Christian principles they have decided God didn't really mean.

Bristol has the young woman's curse of beauty coupled with the stigma (in conservative social circles) of an out of wedlock child. Eligible men of decent character will tend to avoid her due to the "baggage". The rest of the men will put on a flashy show and tell her whatever they think it is that she wants to hear.

Add in the political angle of young Democrat men looking to make a name for themselves by hooking up and then dumping her in the most humiliating manner possible and you have a young lady with no real chance for a stable, traditional marriage and family.

Oh my goodness! I haven’t had a peanut butter cake in years! I’ve got my mom’s recipe, written in her own hand. She died about 20 years ago. I think I will bake one in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the reminder!

December 12 is my husband’s birthday, too. It’s the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a very auspicious day

Oh my yes!

My Mother's Birthday is May 11th, so every few years it falls on Mothers Day.

That year we only have once chance to get it right! XD

Merry Christmas! Are you enjoying warm weather?

Merry Christmas to you sweetest Tax-Chick, yes, I Love a Warm Winter, But I just jinxed us though, now it's getting colder :P. Suppose to Snow on Monday. (Gulp)

My mother’s birthday is May 4, and my father’s was June 4. They preferred that we observe their birthdays, rather than Mothers Day and Fathers Day, because their birthdays were personal. I had to learn that my in-laws didn’t feel that way!

Send some cold our way!

I won’t be surprised if Bristol and her little girl’s dad reconcile.
