One can only wonder what kind of morals she would practice (if any) if she were not a Christian. One very public bad choice is one thing. To have it happen a second time, again, very publicly, tells us a lot about her commitment to God's Word. I wonder how many young believers are looking to her as their new role model as a way around those pesky Christian principles they have decided God didn't really mean.

Bristol has the young woman's curse of beauty coupled with the stigma (in conservative social circles) of an out of wedlock child. Eligible men of decent character will tend to avoid her due to the "baggage". The rest of the men will put on a flashy show and tell her whatever they think it is that she wants to hear.

Add in the political angle of young Democrat men looking to make a name for themselves by hooking up and then dumping her in the most humiliating manner possible and you have a young lady with no real chance for a stable, traditional marriage and family.

Whaaat?? Bristol’s not a victim here. Bristol is an adult who was raised in a supposedly Christian home. There’s no way we can know how strong a foundation her parents laid down for their family in terms of God’s Word, but for Bristol it apparently didn’t take root.

She (and I would suggest the whole family) needs to get on her knees before God and earnestly repent and submit her life to Him completely. She has messed up royally, but it’s nothing that He can’t turn around if she’ll just acknowledge her sin and seek Him earnestly.
