Mr. Football had his chance ... begone fool.
He’s an alcoholic. Alcoholics are prone to immediately forgetting the worse thing that ever happened to them. The pull of the bottle is much stronger than his desire to succeed. Plus, his family has plenty of money and I’m sure they enable the hell out of him.
I really hate this. I was a big fan of his. But I think his career is over.
Because no other player had some fun during their bye week. The Browns are destined to be a failure for years to come. If you draft a QB early, maybe actually let him play gain experience. I also forces full focus on the game. Their other option McCown (or whatever the spelling) is nothing to be excited about. Let Johnny play and see what he can do.
Little twit deserves what he got. Mr. Hotshot was knocked off his perch of conceit and self-admiration. Buh bye
Johnny Footnote.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Texans try him out after they dry him out.
Saw a Brown fan at a game hold up a sign that read

I don’t follow football that much, but I keep hearing about Manziel. What’s his damage, exactly? Is he a talent bust, or just a head case?
Also saw a list of Brown QBs after Kosar. Got eyestrain reading it.
The Cowboys have had QB troubles sometimes but after Don Meredith, Craig Morton, Roger Staubach, Danny White, Troy Aikman and Tony Romo I think some Dallas fans have been a bit spoiled.

Johnny Football literal bump....
Kind of sad if you ask me. Hope he takes his life back.
...and the Ryan Leaf stupidity award goes to...’Johnny Football’!!!
Holy cow. Only 22 and may be fired from the only thing he knows. Yikes. I hope he didn’t get one of those degrees with a major that is not workable.
Can’t remember somebody getting the starting job, then getting demoted to third string, all during a bye week. It truly is Johnny’s “BYE” week. As in buh-bye. He was finally given his shot. He had a chance to prove his detractors wrong on Monday Night Football. All he had to do was skip the bars, hit the film room, and prepare. Everyone in Cleveland knew it.
When one of our beat-writers was asked about what Johhny should do during the bye week, his answer was “build an electric fence around Berea (Browns’ HQ) and lock Johnny in.”
I had high hopes. Now I’m done with him. Just hope he gets well.
Most these young players don’t know how to handle that much money. Too bad they can’t have the bulk of their NFL earnings go into a trust fund that has an allowance, but becomes fully available only after retirement. I’ll bet you some players would agree to such terms. I could not say how I would act with that much money either.
he is an alcoholic who is in a full blown death spiral....get rid of him now. Maybe a hard bottom will get his attention
Being from Baltimore and being a Ravens fan, I still have no shortage of residual guilt when it comes to Cleveland. But man, we’ve been in the same division with them since 1999 and they’re almost always not bad, but pitiful. There isn’t a decision they can make that won’t come back to haunt them. I would love for the Browns to be at least competitive for a stretch of time, but they always (ALWAYS!) implode.
