That one many say is Department of Public Safety Lt. Steven Schwartz
From the Waco biker community, rumor has it that he had been seen earlier that day wearing Cossacks MC 'cut' (denim jacket with sleeves removed) some time prior to taking that off and picking up the weapon he is seen holding in the photo image.
BETTER rumor has it that the Cossacks were infiltrated with MANY undercover LEO's.
I got that last one direct from a very good local-to-Waco biker community source.
I’ve been looking for them.
Daily.
Oddly enough, they have not yet been made public....
Will we ever be able to see them?

“that one many say is Department of Public Safety Lt. Steven Schwartz”
What do we know about his discharging his weapon and if he did, who did he shoot?
Tonight we are seeing a Chicago cop being charged with first degree murder for killing a 17 year-old black kit a YEAR AGO! Somehow, the events of Waco seem to be headed in this same direction, leading us to consider that the LEO’s have something to cover up!
The same place the video of this guy being shot to death is kept.
Some of us sensed that the police went on a senseless shooting binge. That town seems to have a history of such things.
Many references to Schwartz here:
No sign of an image, though.
What .223 wounds? Where has the caliber been determined?
We don't, and may never.
Renya is playing evidence withholding games with defense attorneys.
Waco police said 44 shell casings have been recovered from the scene where nine bikers were killed during a shootout at a Twin Peaks restaurant. Twelve of those casings came from the .223 caliber rifles of three SWAT officers, who were in adjacent parking lots.
I'm not disputing that bikers were shot by cops but we really don't have enough information yet to know what happened.
Schwartz has been presenting himself in court documents as some kind of "expert" on biker gangs motorcycle clubs.
According to how I understand the Morton Act ---- the County prosecution, provided they are aware of Schwartz's involvement (I don't see how they can deny it at this point) must turn over ALL documents and investigative reports which pertain to this incident, including any which Schwartz wrote up --- before and after the incident, since there may well be exculpatory evidence there.
No longer (since implementation of the Morton Act) does the prosecution get to sift through evidence and decide what they want to share with the defense.
It's time to cough it up. ALL OF IT.
DPS was there, and had participated. They can't sit on information that they had collected prior to May 17th. It's time to put all the cards on the table, not play games with the photographic evidence generated on site as Renya is now doing ---attempting to hold that information hostage to his generalized demands.
There is more also that is due the defense, regardless if the McClennan County DA's office has even seen it or not, since the Morton Act reaches into law enforcement agencies directly.
“We don’t, and may never.”
Seems to me then that the State of Texas needs to step in and take complete charge of this case. The answer that the truth may never come out, is unacceptable! I’m no fan of criminal biker gangs, but I am a fan of The Constitution.
Thus far, I see little evidence that Waco intends to deal with this on the up and up.
Actually, when you look at the justice system, it’s really the District Attorneys the country over who need to be looked at with a magnifying glass. Because it is in their venue that justice is or ls not served. Eveything needs to be straight up. No more plea bargains. That’s selling out justice for expiediency!
One thing is for sure though. Once the cops started shooting at the bikers; the bikers stopped paying attention to each other and started paying attention to where the threat was coming from. This is simply a natural reaction to danger.
Even with the relatively small amount of info we have been able to get from a secretive DA; we can see a pattern of corruption and cover up which clearly indicates guilt on the side of Law Enforcement IN THIS CASE.
This is not much more than a colorful op-ed but it does one thing. It keeps the story alive and that is enough at this point until the truth comes out; if it ever does see the light of day. It would be a major crime if it didn’t.
Evidence. Let me think. Who has the evidence?
And since when did asking questions become a bad thing?
And what "sourcing" meets your standard? Are you quite satisfied with how the msm has reported this story?
And when a gag order is imposed (overturned and then quickly reimposed) don't you get at least a little curious?
Concurring bump...this article was written by some no-name blogger in Texas who's trying his hand at creating "news" on the internet.
Why anyone would pimp this stuff at FR is anyone's guess.
Sourced as in, quoting sources, interviewing people, trying to get more than one side of the story, not cherry picking partial quotes and complete BS to kick up the number of hits to their website.
err...that whole “gag order” thing against everyone present / involved doesn’t produce an automatic gag reflex, in your opinion?
I voluntarily stepped outside of the protections of the Constitution of the USA for ordinary civilians, when I swore an oath to subject myself to the UCMJ.
I was not drafted, and I served two full enlistment terms.
At no point now, or in the future, will I ever support any attempt by any level of civilian government in the USA to subject people to the rigors of the UCMJ, who are not under that specific and really dangerous jurisdiction.
(I would have worded my post slightly differently, but my keyboard no longer allows me to post the letter after “Y” of the alphabet.)
