Who would you follow into battle?

I think debating is one thing... but doing and leading is another. The two are different as night and day.

Someone can have a great debate, e.g. Td Cruz always debates well, he's about as professional as it gets at it, but does he possess the trait that leaders have, i.e. that people will instinctively follow them? We hear that Jeb Bush did well last night, but will it change his persona of someone who might have the math down, but doesn't have the instincts when the going gets tough?

I bet the people at Apple would follow Steve Jobs in whatever direction he wished to take his company when he was alive and running it. We saw the trait in Reagan. WWII had its Patton and Churchill.

They can debate all they want, but I think it comes down to the doing.

So, let me ask all of you something, which is in my opinion the most imnportant question. You're in a fox hole. Which one of these candidates would you follow out of the fox hole to attack the enemy?

These are my answers.

Jeb? No. I doubt if he'd be up in the front leading very long, esp after the first defeat. Remember, George Washington was beat several times before he eventually won a great battle. I don't see any Georg Washington in Jeb.

Rubio? Maybe someday, but not now. I think Rubio, quite frankly is still an apprentice, but a good one.

Ted Cruz? Possibly, yes. I think he has the characteristics of someone who will fight to the finish. But his time, is not now.

Carson? Sorry, no. I'd be afraid he didn't read his compass right, and might be looking at too many options before committing. I don't see Carson, like Julius Ceasar burning his bridges to attack the enemy. He'd be great in the rear over seeing our MASH units.

Carli? I think she has leadership qualities, but I fear she might be getting into a battle we shouldn't be in. I see her as a good lieutenant.

Trump. Definitely yes. I think Trump, would be careful in the assault, and like Patton have the best trained army and advisors at hand. He's the Custer on the stand, more than anyone.

Rand Paul? Nope.

Christie? A good sergeant type, but not the general.

In short, Good People, we have tough tough times ahead. I think they can hold these debates until the cows and pigs come home in Iowa, but I think most Americans know, only one person has the ability to take us through this. And for now, that person is Donald Trump.

Christie? A good sergeant type?!?!

Nononononono!

As a retired NCO I would not want Christie anywhere near my troops. A good NCO is decisive.

Who would you follow into battle?

Allen West.

With all due respect, the question of who one would follow into battle is really no different than asking who he supports.

I think you are misunderstanding what that means.

He means Christie is more suited to being a mid level manager NOT a CEO

He does not mean he should be an ACTUAL Non-commisioned officer.

I would follow Cruz because his loyalty to us is firm and his vision is clear and unchanging.

The same Allen West who threw you under the bus when he voted in 2011 to support Obama and his indefinite detention without trial of his political opponents? (NDAA 2011)

With all due respect, I’ll answer the question the way ‘I’ feel about the question....and I will support my candidate, who is my freedom to choose, to the end...and the ‘end’ is the OVAL OFFICE!!!

GO TRUMP GO!!!

Leadership is key, and Trump has it.

However, bringing the whole conservative coalition together is also key. Cruz does that.

Let’s keep playing.

TED CRUZ!

I share his beliefs and convictions on the Constitution and America’s role in the world.

Trump does NOT follow a steady, predictable set of values, and lacks the depth to execute foreign policy beyond narrow economic interests.

Who would you follow into battle?

The last politician I completely trusted, and would have followed without hesitation, was Ronald Reagan. The person who comes closest today: Allen West.

Then follow your guy.

"I think it's terrible, and we have to act very strongly, But I will say, I watched Pam prior, and it looked like she's just taunting everybody. What is she doing drawing Muhammad? And it looks like she's actually taunting people and it's disgusting that it happened and everything else. But why are they doing drawing Muhammad? Isn't there something else they can draw?

Well, I just say, they can't do something else? They have to be in the middle of Texas doing something on Muhammad and insulting everybody? It's disgusting what happened, and we have to be very strong, but it looks to me like she's somebody who is just taunting them.

What is she doing, and why is she doing it? And, you know, I'm one that believes in free speech, probably more than she does. But what's the purpose of this? She's taunting them, she's probably, it's very risky for her, I don't know, maybe she likes risk. But what the hell is she doing, and what is the purpose of it?"
