They are very irritating! Maybe Fox can get Apple to pay for one. Fox advertisements was formerly dominated by drug company advertisements.

I despise the right side of Fox news with the vids. You have to put up with 30 seconds of commercials and then a talking head telling you what you will see. I won’t watch them because of that.

I know that it is easy to forget, when one is online, who is in the room. And I certainly understand the anger and frustration that much of our news brings to a person who loves this country.

Speaking of Southern gentlemen, we recently took a vacation in SC — yes, we got out just before the awful flooding. We were just bowled over by the natives. So very kind and polite. Just delightful people.

Glad you missed the flood. MD got some rain also, did it not? My buddy in Doswell, VA got a lot of rain; no flooding, thankfully.

We had gone with our travel trailer, as we do for most of our vacations. Original plan was to leave SC on Friday, spend Friday in VA to break up the long drive, and get home on Saturday. However, the husband checked the weather forecast on Wednesday and decided we should leave a day early instead of packing up in the rain on Friday morning.
At that point, we just knew that rain was expected. No flooding events were in the forecast. We got out of there just in time, apparently.
Yeah, Maryland got a fair amount of rain, but there was no flooding in our area.
Oh, we plan on visiting more Southern states, so Florida will definitely be on the list one of these times.
Well, I am sorry your vacation got cut short, but it was a brilliant move on DH’s part to check the weather and boogie a day early!
If you can get reservations, some of the Flori-Duh State parks are very nice. Problem is, the Snowbirds can reserve them throughout the season a year in advancc (which they do!), so you have to be on your toes to get a spot.
Try Key West in March; the Snowbirds have left by then, and the weather is pleasant. We’ve camped in both of the Everglades campgrounds, and liked both of them.
