Glad you missed the flood. MD got some rain also, did it not? My buddy in Doswell, VA got a lot of rain; no flooding, thankfully.

We had gone with our travel trailer, as we do for most of our vacations. Original plan was to leave SC on Friday, spend Friday in VA to break up the long drive, and get home on Saturday. However, the husband checked the weather forecast on Wednesday and decided we should leave a day early instead of packing up in the rain on Friday morning.
At that point, we just knew that rain was expected. No flooding events were in the forecast. We got out of there just in time, apparently.
Yeah, Maryland got a fair amount of rain, but there was no flooding in our area.
Oh, we plan on visiting more Southern states, so Florida will definitely be on the list one of these times.
