Tonight, as the full Moon reaches its closest point to Earth, it will also be dimmed by a total lunar eclipse. This Supermoon eclipse will reach totality at 10:11 p.m Eastern Time, and will last one hour and 12 minutes. According to NASA, it will “be visible to North and South America, Europe, Africa, and parts of West Asia and the eastern Pacific.”

Dear Father in Haven, I sorely miss the greatness that was America.
Back in the ‘60’s when I was a teen, there was to be a total solar eclipse and the most full eclipse was suppose to be in East Tennessee...There were people from everywhere came to Knoxville and had cameras set and were all excited about this event...
About 2 hours before the time for the eclipse, they were all grabbing cameras, renting cars trying to get to other places as a big thunderstorm was moving in...*L* It poured down the rain at the time of the eclipse...It was just like night for an hour or so, but you could see no eclipse for the thunderheads....
Us kids thought it was hilarious....
And there are no wind currents, no heat or vapors, no dust to distort the images. As far as New Mexico having a secret base where the photos were staged (next message below those above), it is in Roswell at the UFO Museum. For $25 you could be in the spacesuit. Hey idiot get a life. Next you will tell us that Santa Claus is real but a Democrat because he gives everything away.
And for all you guys complaining about the weather tonight, it is a bright, cloudless day here in New Mexico. It is the Land of Enchantment. Viva Eclipse!!!!
The hell of it is, we’ve had cloudless skies for about a week, and now its socked it. Lousy Ohio weather, its the pits sometimes (a lot of the time).
Cloudy here, too. Maybe someone, somewhere will take some photographs.

North Eastern Ohio was great training for me the 16 years I lived here before my company transferred me to Northern Ireland for a three year stint! It rains ALL the time there...40 shades of green, ya know! Except it NEVER rains on the golf course...not in NE Ohio, not in Northern Ireland! :)
You know, back in college a couple friends and I tried syncing Dark Side and the Wizard of Oz and my recollection is that there are a few scenes, and transitions between scenes, where the fit between the two is uncanny. This is even accounting for the fact that your mind will tend to try to make them relate. I don’t think we were convinced that Pink Floyd had done it intentionally but we could see how the legend got started.
Back in our BC (Before Christ) days, the lovely Mrs Prov1322 and I would watch the silent movies on WHYY Channel 12/PBS in Philly and listen to the programming from WMMR. No fancy syncing involved...it was epic. Cannabinoids may have been the reason...
