Dear Father in Haven, I sorely miss the greatness that was America.
Back in the ‘60’s when I was a teen, there was to be a total solar eclipse and the most full eclipse was suppose to be in East Tennessee...There were people from everywhere came to Knoxville and had cameras set and were all excited about this event...
About 2 hours before the time for the eclipse, they were all grabbing cameras, renting cars trying to get to other places as a big thunderstorm was moving in...*L* It poured down the rain at the time of the eclipse...It was just like night for an hour or so, but you could see no eclipse for the thunderheads....
Us kids thought it was hilarious....
