Glenn Beck is fed up with Sarah Palin, one of the Tea Partys real heroes. On his radio show on The Blaze yesterday, Beck lashed out at Palin over her apparent support for billionaire businessman Donald Trump. He called John McCains former running mate a clown, adding: Im embarrassed I once supported her.

Beck:
"I didnt listen to her speech. Yeah, Im going to say it. I dont care what Sarah Palin says any more. Sarah Palin has become a clown. Im embarrassed that I was once for Sarah Palin. Honestly, Im embarrassed."
Thats strong and powerful, but it becomes even worse (or better depending on your take on Palin):
"Why do I say that about Sarah Palin? How can you say that about Sarah Palin? Because I dont know who she is any more, I dont know what she stands for. I saw a clip of her talking to Donald Trump. What the hell is that? I dont even know who she is any more. I dont know what she stands for. I dont know. She doesnt know what I stand for. We had a falling out long ago because she listened to people who were lying to her about me. Fine. Dont care. I dont care."
Beck went on to say that he doesnt care about politicians anymore. To him, this is about Americas future or even the worlds future not about scoring cheap political points with one (imagined) base or another. At the same time he believes that people like Palin and Trump only play political games.

Glenn Who?
Y'all might be surprised to learn that Michael Berry has said this same thing about Palin. In fact, it was because I was searching the 'net to find his remarks from a year or so ago (don't hold me to the exact time frame) that brought me to this exchange here on FR.
I can't remember the occasion that prompted Berry's comments, but all the usual suspects were swooning over Palin's "performance," and Berry was having none of it. It was something Palin and Berry were in complete agreement about, but he believed that she hadn't presented the issue well. He dissed her accent, her silly cutesiness and her screechy voice and believed she was more of a negative than a positive for the cause. In short, he was pretty much over the fascination with Sarah Palin.
There are plenty of times when Michael Berry gets on my last nerve because he can be such a jackass know-it-all, but this was one of the times I was in full agreement with him. Even said it out loud in my car! And yes, I've been known to talk back to the radio. :)
