"The second episode of Fear The Walking Dead earned a 4.1 adult 18-49 rating, down 16 percent from a 4.9 for last week's premiere, and 8.2 million total viewers. " I believe that is the way it is for TWD also first of the season is real high and second one drops off considerably.

I hate almost all the characters: clueless mom, even cluelesser dad, harpy fishwife ex-wife, and three snot-nosed, self-absorbed, narcissistic children. I’m keep rooting for the children to go down right away, but alas it’s looking like we’re gonna be stuck with these little sh!ts for many episodes. I dread how many episodes will center around junkie-kid’s heroine addiction.

The second episode of Fear The Walking Dead earned a 4.1 adult 18-49 rating, down 16 percent from a 4.9 for last week's premiere, and 8.2 million total viewers. Not surprising. A lot of people thought the premier was too slow and the VMAs were on last night as well. The original TWD also dropped off for episode 2.
From what I've read FTWD has a 2 season contract with 15 episodes slated for Season 2. And 8.2 million viewers is still nothing to scoff at. The show will have to start sucking really bad to get the plugged pulled.

Looking at the episode listings and Tobias is only in 2 of the 7 produced. FWIW.But we've already seen these two episodes and he's not dead. They can bring him back anytime next season. Look how long Morgan disappeared, and Merle, for that matter.

The only two I would give a better than even shot at surviving is Tobias and the Johnny Depp wannabe druggie and only because even while he was half drugged up he figured out the best option is to run away from the Zombies.
Mom of Team Libtard actually walked towards the Zombies TWICE with no weapons. Once OK... Two times sorry but you are a dumba##!

I think Tobias realized that Mom almost got him killed and barely saved him when he pulled the zombie off of her and got hammered by a body much bigger than him. He probably didn't want to be around her knowing he would either need to let her die or get killed himself trying to save her.
