INDIANAPOLIS -- IndyCar driver Justin Wilson has died from a head injury suffered when a piece of debris struck him at Pocono Raceway. He was 37.
IndyCar made the announcement on Monday night at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Jules Bianchi. a Formula 1 driver, died just a month ago after head injuries suffered 9 months prior without ever regaining consciousness.
And of course Michael Schumacher injured himself skiing and will never be the same, if he ever recovers.

The LESSON from this is that it is safer doing 200mph on the race track than it is doing 35mph down your street.
So sorry to hear this sad news.
Very sad. He was a good driver respected by his peers and loved by racing fans. He will be missed.
