One of the funniest explanations to new drivers I ever heard was at a local track up in Idaho. They were showing the blue flag with the yellow stripe and explained it thusly: "There's a race going on, but you're not in it. Move over."

But even that’s not perfect as we know.
I’m a firm believer that when God flips the page on that DayTimer Calendar and it says Your time is done that’s it- game over and we can’t do nuthin’ about it...

We had met him many times. Just an unbelievable tragedy.
He was definitely one of the good guys. He was known to tour childrens’ hospitals before races (Racing for Kids) and would spend lots of time talking with each one of the kids. Didn’t have to do it, he just did.
Was that the missionary to Italy? My cousin is a missionary in Italy and he mentioned about this terrible accident in the states (Virginia, I believe) that took the life of a young missionary.
My mistake. I’d forgotten about that one.

Yes that was her. They were in Atlanta, visiting my brother on vacation from their missionary wotk in Italy. It has been hard for all.

Just a horrible horrible freak accident. Hard to understand God’s timing sometimes, isn’t it.
allentown is a very small city. not even. hospitals there have limited resources. Are they really that prepared for a mostly one off head injury. Penn on the other hand is probably 100 times larger with enormous resources. Staff, heads can some times make a difference. of course proximity matters as well. given a choice it would be penn over anywhere within 100 miles. via chopper it’s not that much farther. A ben Carson didn’t practice at doylestown or allentown. and they do say they are just practicing. just sayin.
