Griffin should be number 1. He won it twice and his NFL career sucked.

I think it might be easier to put together a list of Heisman Winners that were slightly better than mediocre.

Andre Ware was painful to watch.

I was living in Michigan when the Lions drafted him. They had Ware and Rodney Peete at QB.

The local gag was “what white guy off the waiver wire is going to be the starter by Game Six?” And there always was one.

Well, just goes to show, that being a star college player doesn’t necessarily translate into becoming an NFL star.

College players going to the NFL are going to a higher league. The competition is at a much higher level.

I read that only about 3% of all Division 1 football players ever make it to the NFL. So roughly 1 out of 30 players will make it. Those are stiff odds to overcome.

Off topic, but, based on the odds, it’s not surprising that Michael Sam didn’t make it in the NFL. Liberals and activists for homosexual rights were celebrating when he was drafted by the Rams. But nobody at the time was saying that he still had to prove himself in training camp and make the team. And that low round draft picks such as him usually don’t make the team coming out of training camp.

Two of them, John Huarte and Matt Leinart, graduated from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA.

I don’t think its time to have Sam Bradford on that list and I’m not an OU fan.

Sure he has been hurt but it’s too early to call him a bust.

I understand that Tebow has been given an opportunity by a pro team and according to the last reports of which I am aware was doing well. I hope he makes it.

Is it too early to put that idiot loudmouth from Florida State on it?

The one that likes crab legs?

Named after a cigarette...can't remember his name.

.

.

.(Of course I remember his name...just making the point that I think he's going to be very forgettable, 'cause he's uncoachable.)

Jason White followed closely by Sam Bradford. The best Heisman in the NFL was Barry Sanders.

There are some that never played in the NFL at all. And speaking of the NFL, if they wanted to know what was on Brady’s cell phone, why didn’t they get a court order? Oh, that’s it, they didn’t know what they were looking for. They were just looking.

There could be another (highly contested) list of the worst number 1 overall draft pick to ever play in the nfl.

Chris Weinke was saddled with a sucky pro team. While the team record was horrible, Weinke did score an impressive number of rushing touchdowns. If you have a decent quarterback and surround him with a bunch of low talent players, you aren’t going to win.

Well who ever ranked this is an idiot.

Chris Weinke had a decent career with the Panthers, and has no business being near number 1.

Tim Tebow’s career was destroyed by the leftist media, which kept any team from building an offense around his skill.
John Fox (who I admire as a coach) crapped on him by picking up Manning what the year after Tebow goes to the Broncos, and they get to the playoffs.
