They have been working with his throwing and reports are he is doing well.

He wanted to play basketball, so I don’t think he qualifies.

Tim Tebow’s career was destroyed by the leftist media, which kept any team from building an offense around his skill.

How do you build an offense around a quarterback who can't pass?

They have been working on his throwing for a couple of years now without success. When he signed with the Patriots it was after his throwing delivery was fixed. He didn't make it out of summer camp. Now it's supposed to be fixed again.

that’s not actually true. he was there for OTAs. plenty of snaps were taken.

however, official training camps don’t open for NFL teams until the end of this week, so technically nobody has taken any snaps for any teams yet.

that all changes in a couple of days.

Anthony Davis was the only football player to have played in the NFL, WFL, USFL, and the CFL.

I am an OU fan....and I agree.

With all the QB's...sometimes it's not all the QB's fault about how successful you are.

I agree that Gary Beban should be on the list.

I’m merely stating what was reported; i.e. he has responded well to special training. Take it up with his current coaches.

The best Heisman in the NFL was Barry Sanders.

Roger Staubach (1963) wasn’t a slouch! And, he served his four years of active duty in the Navy afterward, before joining the Cowboys in the NFL. Hall of Fame member.

You will be eating those words when he takes the Bucs to the Super Bowl in two years.../ S

And I'll take 'em with salt and pepper and just a little Ranch dressing.

Your sarcasm tag notwithstanding...I truly would like to see the kid succeed.

Winston is the smartest man he knows...he actually did an interview once, don't remember with who...one of those Saturday morning AM sports shows, but was asked his opinion of a particular play and he stated that few coaches he knew were capable of coaching him in that play, and that if any coach wanted him to succeed, they would have to learn how to coach him.

And the sports world well remembers his antics on the field when Jimbo Fisher actually told him to do something he didn't like.

If, IF, he humbles himself a bit and IF he listens to his coaches, and IF he stays out of trouble off the field, he way well succeed.

But I think he has a rude awakening coming when that bunch of midgets on the Bucs line that are supposed to protect him suddenly fade away and he ends up on his back, time after time, counting the lights in the towers.

I think we'll see an epic meltdown, all of course, assuming he'll even get on the field to play his first two years.

Well that explains why he’s not on the list.

There are 928 Heisman voters. 870 of them are reporters.

The prosecution rests.

I'm surprised they haven't given the Heisman to Obama.
