While trying to get some dinner, a cat got its just desserts after picking on the wrong squid.
In this crazy video, it first appears that the mischievous kitty has the upper hand on its prey. With feline claws and definitely a size advantage, it dips into a pool with the cephalopod. But surprise for the cat because the squid just attaches itself right onto its hunter, turning the tables of the food pyramid.
Unable to see because of a face full of tentacles, the regretful cat stumbles backward and all around.
And while the cat is eventually able to break free and take some bites at the squid, a human comes along to save the slimy sea dweller, obviously frustrated with the cat's antics.
So much for dinner.
Normally I love cat videos, and this is no exception.

Giant squids occasionally show up off the Southern California coast. They’re easy to catch with a squid jig—an ordinary fish hook will slip through their flesh. But when hooked, they fight back. At first, they spray their assailants with jets of water, and when they are brought into the boat, they squirt black ink. An encounter with a school of squid usually leaves the fishermen on a party boat soaked and ink-stained.
Lol! That was cleverly done. The cat was probably yawning in that frame.

Fox mauled him once but I killed the Fox
He slept on the bed or in every one of our children’s baby cribs....from the time we brought them home
He knew when I about died and got all weird
Great cat
I woke up the instant he died in combat on the rugged hill behind us and I knew....instantly
He’d wait in the long front lawn for me to come home at night
Other than him....I don’t care much for cats
I had a Mack tabby for 17 Years but my big bitch Johnson bulldog killed him gruesomely one day out of nowhere after a decade of detènte
I finished the dog after that...she was already tumor ridden
I prefer Rotts Dobes and horses
Freepers are weird about cats
