I think the Dems are in for a major defeat in 2016, on all fronts.

Yes, there's a lot of anger out there against the 'Rats over these issues, but in order to beat them, it will be necessary to clamp down on their massive fraud and cheating that characterized the presidential election process in 2008 and, more so, in 2012.

Also, it will be necessary to get more anti-'Rat people out to register and vote.

But just as important as the next presidential election, these asinine SCOTUS rulings show the need for two new constitutional amendments: (1) subjecting SCOTUS justices to national retention votes every 8 years (as proposed by Ted Cruz) and (2) defining marriage as one man and one woman (as proposed by Scott Walker). Since we can't expect two thirds of each house of Congress to propose these reasonable amendments, the Article V amendment proposal procedure (convention of the states) will hopefully gain momentum as a result of these decisions.

Folks, I have to urge care here.

It doesn’t matter what we do, if we place another idiot in the White House from our side.

The next guy has to be ready to clean house (Leftist legislation) and otherwise, or why bother.

If it’s another Bush or other luke warm Leftist, we might just as well hang it up right now.

The December 1944-January 1945 major offensive called the battle of the Bulge by the German Nazi regime was thought to be a winnable victory but turned out to be a major defeat of the Germans.

Their celebration is just a hollow victory.

God is still on his throne.

My voting in 2016 will likely be limited to state contests.

However, if Cruz is the GOP nominee he will have my vote.

It isn’t likely that I will vote for a rep or senator ever again.

My state of FL has joined a couple of others in the Convention of States movement; that is where my interest and efforts will go.

First we need a leader. Someone to take charge without owing everyone and his relative a political favor

In Florida, we have retention votes. It is a good thing! However, on the SCOTUS level, won’t it take an amendment to the Constitution? If it does, well, BRING IT ON!

With respect, you’re wasting your time and your breath. Electoral politics is a game of three card monte, and we’re the suckers. An excellent example of this is 2014. Now why did we show up and vote? To get the likes of boehner and mcconnell? If that’s what success means, I’ll take a pass.

I’m more and more coming from the position that the way to implement conservatism and freedom is to be conservative and free in your daily life. It doesn’t require permission from the kleptocrats.

“It’ll be different this time” is the mantra of the battered wife, not a free people. There is little to be gained from electoral politics.

The Republican Party has not shown itself to be any real opposition to Obama and the Democrats.

You won’t win with these surrender monkeys running the party,

Forgot passing Congress, 2/3 of state legs aren’t gonna ratify a homo marriage repeal amendment (or even a “let states decide” amendment which is what I think Walker proposed). We can muster a pro-sanity majority but not a super-majority.

Article V is a opium dream, used by Mark Levin to sell books, that’s all, it’s not happening and nothing good would likely come from it if it did. There is no magical solution to our problems, we need to win elections, particularly Presidential and US Senate elections to get good judges in and keep bad ones out.

A possible solution for voter fraud is a paramilitary with scary uniforms and whatever weapons are legal in any given state, put them as close to the polling places as allowed and have them proclaim to passersby that only citizens can vote and interlopers will be subject to arrest, that would scare half the illegals away. But even eliminating voter fraud won’t help us if we run crappy Todd Akin/Sharron Angle style loser campaigns.

Now, wanna get rid of queer “marriage”? A change of 1 pro-fag Justice could overturn this decision, but then we’d still have half the states with homo marriage.

I’m not a religious man, but this an abomination, it needs to be e-l-i-m-i-n-a-t-e-d, nationwide, period, by any means necessary. Only way to do that, have a federal ban rammed through with at least 218 in the House and at least 51 in the Senate (declaring filibusters out of order if necessary), signed by the President and ultimately upheld by at least 5 of 9 Justices.

I believe such a ban is constitutional under the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment, if that doesn’t jive with one’s view on “state’s rights” I say suck it up, this is more important than a personal narrow interpretation of the Constitution, this is the well being of civilization at stake.

We are officially in “the Constitution/law” is toilet paper” era. It means what 5 a-holes on the Supreme Court says it means, it’s passed time to get 5 of our a-holes on there and get them to say it means socialism is illegal, in every state, and if Vermont and California don’t like that they can go F themselves.

The Chicago way people. They fight with rocket launchers and we counter with slingshots.
