Many of the posts on MSM media about this, the posters are GLEEFULLY celebrating because the Family is Christian.
The girls social media accounts have had nasty comments directed toward THE VICTIMS. Not only is that “bullying”, mean, cruel, destructive..., this is further victimizing the victim.
I remember when Woody Allen’s daughter came out a couple years ago. There were many in Hollywood excusing him, accusing his daughter of being a liar, and they went out of their way to publicly support him because they “worked” with him in movies.
Same when he had the naked pics of Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter whom he married when she was an adult. He was around her as a minor, was a “father figure” (if one wants to call him that), but a normal adult should not be attracted to one’s: daughter, son, niece, nephew, brother, sister...
She was an adult when they married, but the ICK factor is strong with Woody’s behavior.
Hollywood once again rallied around Woody.
There is that creep that throws parties in which underage/18+ boys/men walk around/swim naked. (he’s a gay guy) Because he’s Hollywood and his parties are legendary, they don’t skip a beat and the MSM even though reportedly many of the naked young men are underage and wanting to get into movies (casting couch?), don’t screech about what IMHO, are the perverted acts of those who donate to the Left/vote “correctly”.
The victims of any predator are my priority.
I would think prayers would help too BUT it’s best to let the family sort all this out privately.

The ages of the victims may be deduced. It was revealed that the oldest daughter was not abused. Four of his sisters were abused. Since their ages are public one can determine their ages with math.

The ages, number of the girls in the family at the time, limit the victims to a possibility of 5 (in family). A frequent visitor was their cousin.

He systematically molested his sisters over a span of two years that we know of. The youngest was 4 when he sexually assaulted her.
I would not put them on television.
I don’t know what counseling the victims received. I do know that there are Christian counselors that are trained and credentialed/licensed. Any one of those that were used should have been required to report child abuse to the State.
I have a teacher’s license and also 15 years ago went through Boy Scout/Girl Scout training. If a KID tells you something like that you are by LAW required to report it.
Josh being 14, Arkansas Law treats that age as an ADULT for sex crimes.
I have kids. They are grown now, but when they were little, from the day they were born, there were certain people they were NEVER left alone with. I was a stay-at-home-full-time mommy and what happened to me was one of the reasons why.
I’d never allow my under-aged child to be around Josh alone knowing what had happened. If he did it again, my child would pay the price and that price is a lifetime.

Seriously, Josh Duggar??? YOU DID RUIN YOUR LIFE. You could have masturbated alone somewhere but YOU CHOSE to sneak in and molest innocent children.
You got a second chance. And a third, fourth, and fifth. Just counting the number of victims. Most likely there were dozens of chances to do the right thing. Your religion did not help you. It should be helping you in prison right now, where you belong if the statute of limitations were better for child predators.
