Eight years ago, Alice gave a thorough and detailed account of events that are nearly identical to those outlined in the police report that became public this week:

Alice then wrote, "Yes, this is the truth ... They have been investigated to some length..."
On the subject of Josh's parents Jim Bob, 49 and Michelle, 48, Alice wrote "They have lied and lied about their son to protect him... In my eyes he is a CHILD MOLESTOR. HE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE HOME."

Not sure where people on FR or any news source are getting these ages because these police reports have blocked out the ages on them. I have no way of knowing how old the victims were only that they were minors as was the perp and what happened.
Turning it over to a rabid secular world, on the other hand, sometimes is scarcely better.

I said basically the same in another post a few days ago about the father and mother not having the hindsight NOR foresight in going public with their family- they must have figured it was all “AOK” & would never be brought to the court of public opinion. When a person goes on national tv you shouldn’t have any skeletons in your closet.

I am glad Law Enforcement were never called in because I never told anyone until 28 years later to my mother. It would made matter worse for me. I told my mother that I forgave them and she must too must forgive them for what they did do me. Yes I was also molested by Teenagers and children in a span of 5 years, but they have grown into mature responsible adults and I feel comfortable being around them since they are my cousins. They are not the teenagers nor children anymore. They grew and so did I.
My mother and I figure that they too were molested by someone also for them to have done it to me. As for the Adult though, he should have known better he remained a jerk and I remained far away from him as possible. God took care of him - he died in an accident.
Now I wonder about Josh, the Duggar parents seem very nice and trusting. I wonder if they left Josh alone with someone whom they trusted for Josh to think that was ok - just a thought.

You are so sad about the girls that you have attacked people strictly for expressing sympathy towards them. That does sound like you feel really sad.
I noted that while CNN covered this story over and over again on every show I happened to glance at, I did not once come across the Bill Clinton/Jeffrey Epstein scandal. On one CNN show somebody, maybe Anderson Cooper, agonized that the family pushed family values. What did he want? That they push non-family values?
That wasn’t easy at all for you. And yet, it turned the onus for dealing with the guilty one back to God. He had a choice, relational amends or not, apparently chose not, and possibly his own fomented recklessness removed himself from the picture.
Molestation is, among other things, the assertion of a lie. This is the assertion that the one doing the molesting has authority to state the status of the one molested. However, this isn’t a situation of poor dumb animals, this is a situation of men and women.
If it makes you feel any better I would remind you we live in world that is really confused right now.

You have deliberately misinterpreted me — you can cling to that but I do not accept blame for it.
The posts by “Alice” supposedly clarified that the oldest daughter, Jana Duggar, was the only sister who wasn’t molested but I haven’t seen that reprinted in her own words. The victims ages and years this happened are known so it isn’t clear what a redaction would accomplish except follow standard police procedure.
I stated that it will take decades for all the damage to play out. Not that nothing could mitigate the damage. My desire is for the girls to have help available.
You are way, way out there. You are also trying to make extrapolation from what I did say that are not normal inferences.
