As Fox News’s audience continues to age, the conservative network inches close to death as in 2014 its median audience dropped to 1.1 million. > Pew Research State of the Media Report quoted <

-but-

Fox News is still racking up big profits due to the high carriage fees that they charge providers. Fox News earns $1.50 per subscriber. This is the third highest carriage fee of any network. Fox News trails on ESPN and TNT in the amount charged per subscriber. Any liberal or progressive that has cable or satellite is paying Fox News $18 a year per household. High fees paid by people who disagree with Fox News, and never watch it, are one of the reasons why the network can be highly profitable as viewership declines.

Wow. Talk about delusional. I don’t care for Fox News but this dude is slightly off here in his analysis.

The writer’s conclusion makes absolutely no sense given the facts he cited.

The writer’s delight also makes no sense given that Fox News has much higher ratings than all of the liberal alternatives, which are all losing viewers even faster.

The best part is the comment from a reader (below the article) who states that MSNBC is too conservative. Oh boy...LOL

Could start to see a slow drain. I Never thought i would stop watching from 8 to 11, but Bill's self righteousness, Kelly's insulting remarks to Huckabee(who i'm not een a fan of but were so over the top for no reason) and Hannity’s antics and constant yelling made it unwatchable.

Well I am paying the carriage fees for CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg and AlJazeera America. So it kind of evens out.

"Fox News remained relatively steady, losing only 1% of its viewership with 1.7 million watching nightly. But CNN (down 9% to 495,000 viewers) and MSNBC (down 8% to 568,000) struggled."

Yet the headline emphasizes the decline of Fox, despite its relative stability compared to its competitors. Jason Easley shows himself as a partisan hack, and yet another faux journalist.

Not really — Fox news isn't really all that kind to conservatives, like the Republican party they just phrase things so they'll be accepted by us w/o really doing anything.

I haven’t watched the broadcast news since 2000, but I seldom watch Fox News these days either. The bloom is off the rose, Fox News haven’t been a conservative broadcaster for a long time, if they really ever one.

There is nothing conservative about FoxNews. Everyone there hates the Tea Party, too.

FoxNews just does not hate America - although it is drifting that way.
