Companies, charities, unions, political campaigns and community organizers do this all the time and have for many years.

But those fans weren’t gay, right? Tim Cook would prefer it so.

Let me know when this sort of stuff has anything to do with what we supposedly support Free Republic for.

OTOH, the presence of this sort of spam just might tend to stymie contributions. More than a few are sick of this stuff in our face every time we check the site.

This story is false. Samsung denies the payouts and The original source has retracted the story. See here Samsung denies paying people to attend galaxy s6 launch event

Well I’ll just notice, Samsung still has their name on their phone, which to me is a (huge) mistake.

Nobody except for Koreans want the darned name on the phone.

Take it off. Then the phone can compete. It is that simple.

How many of the iphone flippers in line on release day at the apple stores are paid by someone else to be there?

Apple did the same thing since their phones are made in China as well.

When is Apple going to take that hundreds of billion of dollars in profits and start hiring Americans to make their phones instead of using cheap slave labor in China?

Oh, and when will Apple start paying American taxes on all those profits instead of creating foreign shall corporations to hide the money overseas?
