So when Deion Jr. tweeted this:
Gotta get the hood doughnuts almost every morning. If my doughnuts don't come in a plain white box, I don't want them!
Deion Sanders Jr (@DeionSandersJr) April 2, 2015
Deion clapped back:
@DeionSandersJr you're a Huxtable with a million $ trust fund stop the hood stuff! Lololol. Son. #Truth

Maybe it really is genetic after all.

I tried finding ‘hood donut’ at urban dictionary, unfortunately found nothing but nagger talk and misspellings. My guess is they’re marked-down leftovers, but that would only apply if the buyer was using its own cash instead of an EBT card, in which case only the finest and freshest will do—on the public’s dime. ;)
Great point. We’ve lost history and become fractured. Sadly, it was part of an intentional movement to do so and we paid for it.
He should NEVER have played football. He got beat up playing the game and this shortened his baseball career. You can play baseball for 20 years, make a pile o’ money, and retire with most of your body and marbles intact. Virtually no one can do that in football except MAYBE the kickers and they don’t get paid that much.
I couldn’t find a definition either but found these interesting yelp reviews:
“This is the hood donut spot. If you need cigarettes, blunts or donut holes, this is your place. Don’t let the smell of urine throw you off when you walk through the parking lot.”
“Well, if you don’t mind ordering your donuts and coffee through a glass panel, it is a fine place. It wasn’t particularly clean, but the donuts were fresh”
Har! Sounds right to me!
I thought he meant he has to get his hood ...donuts every morning but I don’t understand the plain white box bit either.
The kid won't listen, of course.

A reference to an “upscale” or “Upper Middle Class” black person or family. NOT derogatory when used by white people, but can be derogatory if used by blacks, about blacks. Derived from the Huxtables on the Cosby Show. Also used to define “poser” black families, trying to act “white”
Look at Bo Jackson. Grew to big for his britches and had his knee taken out during a football play. Tried to go on with baseball but was never ever close to being good again.
Why's the box gotta be white? Sounds like a racist to me.
It was a hip
I knew a very prominent doctor who was consulted about Bo Jacksons knee. At the time he was off for the injury and his agents where saying he would be back after surgery. The doctor said there was no way. He said Jacksons body was ate up from massive steroid use. I would hear the news report he would be back but he never did return. Doc said most all the pro athletes he looked at had signs of steroid use but nothing in the accelerated stage Jackson was in. He said the layer of cushion in his joints was gone.
For all the flash, Prime Time was usually the hardest working player on the team. He was not someone who just got by on god given talent, he also worked his rear end off every day in practice and pushed others to work hard.
More importantly, he is being a FATHER to his kids. IMO, his text to his boy was a smack up side the head, telling him to knock off the “hood talk” because you have more than most so act like it.
Perhaps true, but if ancient bards had cable TV, they would use that to spread their mythology too. The Cosby show was an important image for high achieving middle class black families. The kids weren’t on drugs, skipping class or spouting black power arguments. They were educated, hard working and well off. It was reflective of a lot of black families.
I assume you’ve messaged Cruz, Palin, etc to shut down their accounts immediately.
Wasn’t sure. Also not sure if I remember that it looked like a “professional” sports hit.
