What Ann didnt know was that 20 minutes after she left Mr. Fancy at the shelter, he escaped.
One month later, Ann woke up at 5:30 AM to the voice of her husband talking with someone in the kitchen. When she went to investigate she saw Mr. Fancy sitting at her husbands feet.
She started to cry as the cat ran into her open arms. Mr. Fancy had found his way home.
I think he had a guardian angel looking out for him, directing him back to my house. I love him so much and feel we were meant to be together. He belongs here. Mr. Fancy will never want for a home, food or love again.
Sometimes you choose the animal. Sometimes the animal chooses you.

That movie cracks me up.

Same here!

By 5:30 we’ve usually had breakfast.

Boo, for a headline that misleads.
Its interesting that the cat returned but she’s the one who took her “long lost love” to the animal shelter.
Well she sounds hideous!
We’re down to one feral in the back now. Mr. Itsy. A couple of years ago his mom was hangin’ in our yard, and had two kittens. We’d named her Mitzi during the several months she was hangin’ out, so when she had the kittens the female kitten became Bitsy, and the male became Itsy. Mitzi, and Bitsy found homes across the gulch, and over the other side of the field behind us with some little girls, and their family, and Itsy stayed with us to this day. He looks very similar to Mr. Fancy. Wish he was as friendly.
thanks for the laugh!
When you and most people you know can quote lines from a commercial it is one of the greats, and “Jake from State Farm” is exactly that. “Well, she’s a guy”. Speaking of pets, though, I or my family have owned some sort of pet and sometimes more than one nearly every day since I was age three. Some were just special.
With cats, it is more often the later.
Aw, that was cute.
She sounds hideous.
Many so-called shelters kill cats almost as soon the person who drops them off leaves. Mr. Fancy is a lucky cat.
Heh ... ‘bout 4 years ago, a critter like that decided that my property was incomplete without its august presence ... she lives in the shed, or outdoors.
Well, she’s a guy, so...
That’s one beautiful cat. I love a gray striped tabby.
kitteh ping
