I’ll be cheering for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, but if they get steamrolled in a similar manner, it’ll be b/c they were outplayed not due to a PSI in a couple of footballs.

Just fondly remembering the World Cup threads this past summer. My next response should be, “NFL fans are so sensitive.”

Not sure if I’m pulling for either team. I’ll probably play cards while the game is on in the background.

I don’t expect there to be any cheating, since there will be a microscope up the butt of each team after this. Then again, I don’t trust the Deflatriots. I wonder if they cheat in part because it’s a thrill, just like it is for some shoplifters to steal.

What’s a “World Cup?” Sounds like part of a Red Commie plot to sissify America.

I’m kind of surprised that you are so willing to condemn before all the facts are known.

As is widely known, "Spygate" wasn't the Patriots getting caught doing something no-one else was doing. "Spygate" was Belicheck's punishment for putting his camera guy out in the open! (While all the other teams keep theirs up in the stands or in a team luxury box.)

If that's "cheating" to you, go for it. Usually, "cheating" implies "so as to obtain an unfair advantage." Never happened. Genius.

I was actually pretty specific. Factually, too. Perhaps that’s the real problem here...

I thought I started piping in about them cheating (this time) after the report was released, not before. When it was just allegations, I reserved judgment about this instance. Then it was reported that 11 of 12 balls were deflated. I am relying on ESPN to give correct info on that.

What other facts am I supposed to wait for before I decide that the Patriots were caught cheating?

Don’t be so sensitive. Go back to watching your burly men wearing skin-tight pants and manhood-enhancing equipment, their rumps in the air. Embrace it.

Yes, it’s still cheating, genius, whether others are doing it or not. It doesn’t make it better if other teams are also cheating. Some teams aren’t cheating. Maybe those are the ones who are losing, I don’t know. What I do know is that you are rationalizing poor behavior. Great excuse!

“Never happened.”

BS. You’re just sore that they got punished, however lightly it was.

You Pats fans should really be ashamed, but instead you’re proud of your guys. Reminds me of the Democrats.

For God’s sake she wasn’t a Bostonian.

Can’t you do better than that?

Ridiculous!

Hey Pats fans, How’d the last 2 Super Bowl appearances work out for ya?

Not good but so far 3 & 2 for Super Bowls and hopefully 4 & 2.

Brady’s on his 6th Superbowl.. where’s your quarterback/team stand?

The “chowder heads” really aren’t too concerned about the Pats.

They left Boston over 40 years ago—they are closer to Providence.R.I.

Assachusettsans pronounce “chowder” as chowdah, but they add ‘r’s to “pizza” and “Cuba”. What’s up with that?

They're all redistributionists up there.

What’s a “World Cup?”

I'm not sure, but I think that it is a big deal in some parts of the world. One of the main attractions seems to be that the men wear shorts and end up running around a grass field for a couple of hours kicking each other in the shins. I think it sounds like fun...

To avoid this kind of crap: wouldn't it be better to put the officials in charge of all of the game balls.

I'll go one step further, since all the teams are using the balls by the same manufacturer, let them decide on what inflation pounds works best for their quarterback.......

End of controversy.......
