I find it baffling that an NFL team would even take a risk on a guy with such an extensive track record of warning flags all over the place.

You might as well use a draft pick on a cancer patient with six months to live.

Must suck to be known as “Johnny Football” only to find out that you’re really not that good at it.

MidgetManziel

Manziel and Seattle's Russell Wilson are the same height.

It's all about heart and discipline.

Wait until Lobster Boy comes into the draft.

They'll be falling all over one another for him.

I think Manziel has more skills than Winston.

At least Manziel can remember the plays and execute (but fails), whereas Winston forgets the plays, throws down the ball and blames the coach.

I can’t imagine anybody wanting Winston.

Surely you recall Pacman?

Not to mention we have folks many believe murdered yet qualify as Pro Bowl folks

The antics of Paul Horning, Joe Namath, Lance Rentzel and Kenneth Michael Stabler look quaint from the perspective of today’s ghetto comes to the grid iron criminality

Winston was the first guy I thought of when reading this article about Johnny Football. If you and I can see the problems, how come they get drafted?

MVP of the Dallas Cowboys- the front office executive who held Jerry Jones down when he was trying to make Manziel his first pick.

He was just got out of Montana state prison. Texas, if they wanted, could now send him back to the Texas state slammer for parole violation due to the crimes he committed in Montana.

“I remember watching the draft and Manziel was the toast of the commentators...”

I bet Jerry Jones is thanking his lucky starts that Jason Garrett defied Jones’ by refusing to draft Manziel.

The fan was actually throwing the drink on the floor and it hit Manziel’s head on the way down.

You think that’s bad? Just watch the idiot team that takes Jameis Winston, the Felony State University QB that has airplane-sized red flags that follow him around day and night.

It seems so easy for this guy to change his image, but he does not. He is somewhere between Ryan Leaf and Jeff George.

I really hope this guy wakes up and at least invest his rookie contract money well. I hope he tries to become a legitimate QB.

BTW: Brett Favre did this same stuff. I am not comparing the 2, but hopefully like Favre he grows up.

Maybe if this guy could get sober he could be a starter.

plus they literally slammed the Cowboys for not drafting him

it was insane the way the draft was somehow all about him

meanwhile the Cowboys picked up some offensive linemen who helped get them to the playoffs.

Next draft, defense!
