From what I have read, this may be the finale episode for Clara Oswald.

I didn’t care for her after The Doctor’s regeneration. She was too bossy. After previous regenerations, it does take a couple of episodes for the new Doctor to shake the cobwebs. This Doctor (Capaldi) seemed to take longer to get his head cleared out.

Will be watching — have BBCA on auto-programming to tune it in.

Clara had a somewhat romantic relationship with the prior Doctor, which went away with the current 50’ish Doctor (never mind that the Doctor was supposed to be 2000 years old or so in either incarnation). Women are shallow with respect to looks, I guess)

In Time Travel, any of the characters are still alive. Just travel to a time to when they exist.

Her character was much better before the regeneration, for sure. I really liked how the other hers kept popping up in episodes before her character was introduced. That was a good, mysterious occurrence.

In the Whoverse you can’t return to fixed points like where he lost Amy and Rory.

That time-frame for them was blockedbecause of what happened to Amy and Rory I gathered. Anyway, I guess it didn't become a fixed point when Rory got sent back and those other people but Amy put it over the top. Notice how close these two were with the Doctor before this happened, that must have been pretty devastating.
