NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) Two days after WAVY News reported on allegations that PETA workers stole and killed a chihuahua from Accomack County, two groups are calling on the animal advocacy group to answer questions. PETA remains silent.
Wilbur Cerate owned the dog, named Maya. He said one weekend in October he discovered the dog was missing. He checked surveillance video, which shows a PETA van pull up, two workers get out, and one snatch the dog off his porch.
I was angry. I understand they pick up my dog, if it was in a tree or another place, but this is in my house, Cerate told 10 On Your Side.

The article is dated Nov 14th....I just noticed. My apologies.
bust the two for animal cruelty, they’d surely do it to one of us.
PETA has the largest kill “shelter” in the country.
Did they eat the dog?
People Eating Tasty Animals?
Or sell it to a lab for ‘research’ maybe?
If PETA has gotten to the point of stealing animals off peoples’ porches using the lie that they are rescuing these animals, someone will need to prosecute them and fully “rub their faces into the mess” they have created.
Ok, maybe there is a time for a lawyer - or a family member in the mob.
Need to get the case in front of a civil jury, after the criminal case, and go for millions.
I’d snatch a PETA worker or two out of their office and have a bit of fun someplace real quiet and private.

The BS Commonwealth Attorney claims there is no criminal intent. What in the world do you call the intent of someone deliberately walking up to your house and stealing your dog if it is not criminal? It’s all on camera and then you have PETA appearing to the owner and trying to whitewash the crime and buy off the owner with a gift basket. The corrupt CAtty needs to have the klieg lights turned on him along with PETA.
The government attorney said “No criminal intent.” I say, the time for this government is past.
“But the local Commonwealths Attorney said he dropped the charges because there wasnt enough evidence to prosecute. He said the video does not show criminal intent, so he declined to take the case to court”
Huh? What? A video of peta workers snatching someones dog off their front porch doesnt show criminal intent???
Michael Savage exposed them years ago.

Apparently, the prosecutor thinks that the Chihuahua was attacking a herd of cows.

I would think taking someone's property from his porch is pretty clear cut larceny but the scumbag DA doesn't want to bother with it so there will be no criminal case. Civil is all this guy has.
video does not show criminal intent,
Isn’t theft criminal? But as I have been saying for years, the law does not apply to liberals....
The owners thought he was a chihuahua, but he was really a rat they got when they vacationed in Mexico.
PETA, Greenpeace, next the Audobon Society will be having a skeet-shooting fundraiser with live passenger pigeons.
